You must make a comparison between Trac II and mach 3 or even fusion. I'm serious the trac II gives me one of the most closest shaves. Just compare TRAC II to others razors. you will be surprised 👍🙂

Envy for Men was my signature scent around 2009, but got discontinued shortly after, super scarce these days, very expensive, can't wait to hear yours (and others') thoughts, and also definitely one of the ones I need to grab.

Do they feel exactly the same on the face? the gillette vector and gillette atra
Also in terms of shaving results they equal?
I tried the Vector and I have a Gillette Contour Plus (which seems the same as Atra but with a different name, maybe for the European market) too and the pivoting head on the Contour Plus seems to work/hinge much better (and holds the cartrige much more, does not lose it like my Vector) and the Contour cartridges seem to be more confortable/smooth on one's face (Vector reminds me of those throw away blue Gilette razors which kinda do the trick but are not that smooth/confortable on one's face), both issues I justify it as just a case of better build quality in the Contour. Both can be quite agressive on one's face, if you apply pressure, do too many passes and go against the grain you most likely will end up with a super irritated and razor burnt skin, it will chew up your skin like hell...it is not like a Mach 3 which is idiot proof, efficient and smooth.
What perharps you can do, before you spend good money in a 'new old stock' Atra or Contour Plus as I did and then risk to not like it, is to get a Vector but use Atra/Contour catridges on it as it is compatible. If you love how the cartridges work on you, then get the nice original, full metal Atra/Contour handle.
@@antonio_fidalgo many thanks for your questions. 👍🙂🙂🙂 i really likes trac ii, mach 3 and fusion 5 to go aginst the grain of the hair growth. between the trac ii and atra/vector i get a closer shave with trac ii. and between mach 3 and trac ii it's a hard competition. what is your choice?
My area has a heavy handle but the shave is similar

The Vector is an Indian Atra. The carts will fit the vintage metal Atra handles and makes a great travel razor.

Hey Ken, you have to do a Executive shaving company tribute, i just found out thst they hsve closed down for good. Even though im not on FB anymore, my phone lets me see they first post on ES page 😮for some reason. Thrh close down on the 30th of August of this year 😔 i even hsve they unscented shave cream 😮

Great shave. Funny enough, I used the Proraso Green in my last shave and it still works even all those years later. Its menthol effect is slight but not too overpowering. I still have the Proraso White soap as well, but I’m not a fan of its tea and oat scent. I just like the Green scent better. Have a good one!

The best blades for these are vintage Schick Ultrex blades. Cheap, sharp, have the cleaning button, and they fit both Trac II and Atra razors.

For me nothing can give me a better shaving experience than with my Gillette Fusion 5 Power razor.! It's outstanding.!

👍They did Mohs on my nose and since it’s on the nose, I asked for a plastic surgeon and was approved. Only bummer was the dermatologist did the mohs, bandages it up. I had to drive an hour later to the surgeon who grafted on my nose so there should be no scars

I'm glad you showed this, Ken. I'm a fan of the Atra, and you can get 100 Personna cartridges that fit the Atra (and Vector) for $15.00. I use it for getting around my ears. I never cared for the flexing head razors, and the small head of the Atra & Sensor is great for the nose/ear area even if you're a DE fan.

Great shaving video, i wanna watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice i love the 1st , oh watched Speak no evil last night WOW in the begning i was c´mon a bit boring and stated Denmark, USA so thought there would be a lot of Danish, not not so much but it got great , i got the vector of aliexpress same heads with the little in between blade cleaner and yes can use other blades where the blade attachment is the same system yeah EVERYTHING as in EVERYTHING is getting beyond expensive these days, and i´m afraid its not over prices keeps going up anyways stay safe....cheers....Peter

Excellent shave Ken. Proraso green is one of my favorite modern day classic shave soaps. People often get upset with me when I pick it over artisan soaps but they change their tune when they realize that I've been wet shaving for 10 years and honing straight razors for 9 years. Back then they did not have hardly any artisan shave soaps like we do today. $60 dollars to park is retarded in my opinion. I'd love to see that air show myself. You never go against the grain with any razor do you?

Not a huge fan Proraso. I tried the Red shaving cream and I broke out in a rash. Tried the White shaving soap and found it to be average. I guess I been spoiled by artisan soap makers. I used Proraso for travel only since I travel with carry on luggage and soaps are exempt from being a “liquid”.

Ken get a foam roller everyday for a couple of minutes, it will help your back a ton. Also but I except you less to consider this … do yoga twice a week. You will feel like a new man ( if you don’t already) ✌️😅
