Thanks! Took a little engineering but we'll be making a video telling folks how we did it. You can get literally everything from a basic hardware store or Home Depot. So far no issues.
Great video! Looking at buying a 2018 PW and looking for videos on how friendly they are to mods. Your video made me LOL a couple of times at moments you could have edited out but left in. Very cool!
Nice build. I love the decked with the cargo slide and wanted the same but being almost 500 lbs empty between the two, with all your other gear, and loaded how is handling? I'm only asking because I'm specing to build out a 2022 tundra trd pro with similar and even higher max weight ratings and I'm already going over max and wondering what to cut in my overland buildout.
500? The weight in ours, empty is almost exactly 350 pounds. And comparing our 2500 and how it handles with payload to a half ton tundra isnt going to be an accurate assessment unfortunately. Apples and oranges but our handles ok. Because of the tent, cap and heighth of the weight, we had to add track bars and a rear Hellwig sway bar to adjust the soft suspension of a Power Wagon.
@@RogueElement I see. I was talking about combined weight of the cargo slide and decked system is just under 500lbs. True 3/4ton versus 1/2 ton is quite different for sure.
I have a 18 PW, what performance mods have you done. I have a pulsar, K&N 77, cat back exhaust. Looking for a little more. Any recommendations. I'm also waiting on getting thuren kit as well.
No performance mods on this one yet. We are most likely adding that pulsar and Edge setup or a Banks tuner and we have some custom exhausts in the works for both PW’s
@Rogue Element copy, I was looking at intakes manifolds, hotter coils, simple bolt on stuff to help. There isn't much info at all for these trucks. And I'm not going to tear this engine apart there is no need. That's a slippery slope I'm not going down again. Awesome build look forward to more.
@@mattkain8375 yeah these 6.4’s don’t like to be messed with outside the SRT’s. If I get bored or become unhappy with it, I’ll yank the internals and replace them with forged parts and probably supercharge it or throw a hellcat motor in
@@RogueElement Yea a diesel would be better for wheeling though and towing, double the low range torque and a bit better mpg on the highway, especially if you chipped it and put a snorkel on it.
This is a goated setup first time I see a bed slider on a decked system and the functionality of it looks amazing!

You’re set up. Nice!
Thank you!

You’ll love the PW. Only issues can be that 6 speed trans but overall they are great
Links for your items used would be excellent
How is your pw handling the weights of the cab and load you have?
This one needed the Hellwig Big Wig sway bar to handle the extra weight but overall I’d took it all no prob
Trail Whale!!!!
Sick PW set up! How is the MPG all decked out? I just got my PW last July and planing on how I want to set it up.
It gets around 11-15mpg depending on the load and speed. These 6 speeds aren’t great for mileage but the new fifth gen 8 speeds are awesome

@@todd6888 yeah the combined weight is less than 350 for the slide and decked system empty
@rogueelement I have the same sliders, are yours just bolted or did you have them welded on
It’s currently bolted down

oooooooof why go hemi ? you mostly drive sand? sick build though
Drive in just about everything. You can only get a Power Wagon with the 6.4 Hemi.. No other motor option
@@RogueElement Yea I realized that a couple hours later, its a weird move by dodge, I don't get it
@@JoeBlow-ub1us it’s the best motor for the platform but keeping my fingers crossed they fallow through with getting the Cummins available for it.

They just don’t sell trucks that big here in the UK. What a shame! I was definitely born in the wrong country
Savage!
We make you look good! 😂🤣😂
