It's so long already! I've been growing out my pixie, five months in, and I think that style the pixie retro while growing out can really make the process a lot nicer
Yay for homeschooling! We are still figuring it out in our house too. I have a 1st grader and a Kindergartner in school right now. You look like a movie star -- modern OR vintage -- with your short hair! You're so lucky that you can look pretty with so many different hairstyles! Love your channel! :)
You are honestly my favorite person to watch for vintage anything! You're very thorough in your tutorials, and everything I've seen on you so far is so pretty! Thank you for all your wonderful videos!! Have a great day, and keep up the good stuff rolling!😂☺
As a newly diagnosed m2f Transgender person who even In Male mode loves regular rollersets and perms at the salon , might I congratulate you on such an awesome roller set on shorter hair. For the record Marilyn Monroe was alover of traditional rollersets and she would often request as a part of her list of requirements that a full sized pedestal dryer be placed in her hotel room during her stay
You are sooo gorgeous as a red head! Not that you aren't as a blonde, but the red really suits you. Just my 2 pence, but I love red hair, lol Good on you for the home schooling. I'm trying to convince my daughter to do that with my grand daughters. Great video. I'm growing out short hair as well so you are the Goddess of hair to me X
These video's are so helpful for me at the moment especially. My hairdresser mucked up my hair cut and I ended up with a sort of pixie cut instead of a middy. I have been struggling with what I can do with it, but this has given me hope. :-)
Thanks this is exactly what i was looking for. I think I need to get myself some pillow rollers. I love my sponge rollers, but they leave the worst dents. At the moment I'm just scrunching my hair with mousse and pulling the top of the sides back in little twists. Which gives me kind of a "roman holiday" thing. And if my fringe won't sit right i roll it under in a tiny little roll. Now I can try something else.
These are great ideas! Thank you so much! I'll definitely link your Pixie Grow Out videos to people who ask me how to grow out their pixie! I have a question. My hair is coarse, frizzy and dries naturally in an 3/4 inch in diameter curls (average)... I'm one stage further from yours, I've grown a buzzcut down to an almost-chin length bob that's slightly shorter in the back. When I brush out my natural curls - which, don't get me wrong, are beautiful and I'm grateful for them - I also use a Denman brush but everything will start to frizz up. You have the right hair I think to do this kind of style because the volume of your hair will easily go down. But that's just not the case with me... Do you have any suggestions on what can be done? Should I use rollers even though I have "ringlety" hair? I'm stumped! Maybe you have some names of celebrities who had hair similar to mine and vintage hairdos that they did. I know it's a long shot but a girl's gotta ask! Thanks a ton!
Oh , I was so excited to see your video come up :) I know you are a busy working mom , and I really appreciate all the videos you take time to make for us .I'm loving this "Pixie Grow Out" series . It's so interesting , and you are really showing your skills . It's so hard when our hair gets at that awkward stage , and these videos give great ideas .I read below that you went red with your hair color :) I'm sure it will be beautiful . You always looked nice with the red . My hair needs cut badly , and I've kind of slacked off a bit on my styling , and I find your videos always inspire me to make that extra effort :) so thank you for that .I look forward to your next video , thanks for posting .Oh yes, if you don't mind me asking ... what color /brand of lipstick are you wearing ? It's lovely :) Thanks from the East Coast of Canada
"Ladies my age." You keep saying that like you're my mom's (late 50s) or grandma's (almost 81) age. Too funny! .. I love your videos. I got my hair cut off in a punky pixie over the summer, but it's gotten too long to rock that look and my hair is just... bleh right now. I needed some short inspiration. :D
Please help! Brushing out my wet set curls alway ruins them :( I don't brush my natural hair because it makes my curls separate and it gets all frizzy. How can I stop this :(
Many of my viewers expect life and channel updates so I’m not likely to change that...as far as direction goes, I would tell you if you needed to roll any direction other than under...you can actually see quite easily see that they’re rolled under as I undo the curlers.
Wonderful head of hair, wouldn't matter what she did, she is lovely.
I'm letting my hair grow out from shaving my head this summer(2024). No not cancer I just wanted to.
I love this style. Thank you for sharing 😊
I love your short hair styles a lot. You look so great with short hair.

Breathtaking! Wow this is such a smokin' hot look! @ 7:47 or so I'm asking myself if I've ever seen a more beautiful coif! My fav on you so far!
A supreme compliment! Thanks so so much!!

Thanks so much! The lipstick is called Raven and it's by Hourglass.
You explain everything so well! Almost makes me want to cut my hair...
+S Hartman haha...it is easy when you are up to new challenges!
That looks lovely on you

Nice your natural color looks best

Perfect video for me! Thank you.
i feel your struggle on the hair color problem :-) I have red and brown hair color and BAD roots and cant decide!
+Jackie K Well....I went red. haha It was time.
+LisaFreemontStreet hahaha, i went brown! Seemed good for wintertime. We'll see if I feel sassy enough. If not, I've still got the red on standby!
Love your video! can you tell me what color lipstick you are wearing? its beautiful.
Wahoo .. I home school my kids too!!
Please help! Brushing out my wet set curls alway ruins them :( I don't brush my natural hair because it makes my curls separate and it gets all frizzy. How can I stop this :(
Would you recommend any other hairspray for vintage hairstyles? Unfortunately I can't buy Vintage Glam Hairspray in my country.
Elnett is another good one...it's my 2nd favorite
Every time I go blonde, I want my red back & every time I go red I want my blonde back. Lol
Had you heard that Vintage Glam has been discontinued? I went to my Sally's to find some and they told me the entire line has been discontinued. :(
No! I hope it's still available online at least....:(
I'm in fifth grade and we are having a 1950's dance I have a half shaved head and really would like to go so thank you so much😉☺️😊
Maybe you could do an Elsa tutorial (Rita Hayworth in 'Lady from Shanghai') when your hair is a little bit longer? ;)
And FYI Sally's discontinued the vintage love spray
I Absolutely Love Your Beautiful Styke, Especially your beautiful hairstyle 😍 ❤️
To much talking about things nothing to do with the hair style and don't show whicj way to roll the hair
