Hi Matthew! So nice to finally see this amazing video from my Strewberry secret place! I am impressed over the effort you did the day i met you on the mountain road from Narbuvoll. I turned around at Svarthaugen, but you continued all the way to Alvdal that same day! Your videos have all high quality and it was awsome to watch the filming from this beautiful part of Norway that i know so well. Thanks for the ride and all the best for your next adventures on the bike in Norway! Best regards, Fred.
Hi Fred, I'm glad you found the video! I was planning to send it to you, but you beat me to it. It was such a pleasure meeting you and riding that incredible road together. What a day-perfect weather, perfect roads, and the perfect setting! I hope our paths cross again the next time I’m in the area. All the best, Matthew
@matthewnorway I did find your RUclips channel after our ride in the Mountains. But i did not expect that it delivered this level of professional content! I thought you was a pure amateur!😀 I did find out pretty fast that i was wrong. 😀 And it was so fun to watch places i have been and places i am inspired to cycle after watching your video. The part from Orvdalen (i have cycled to Orvdalsseter many times but never continued as you did). I will check out the map and plan for a ride there this summer. Hopefully this summer will be not as wet as in 2024. I hope to see you in the region in the future and i would be delighted if you take contact. There are still hidden gems here that i can guide you into! And i know people that can help you even more. Hope to hear from you! Best regards, Fred.
I crossed Norway from Kristiansand to Nordkapp last summer, inspired by your videos, but after seeing this I have no choice but to go back to Norway next summer.
Matt, another amazing trip and video. I had my unique XP in Norway cycling the Rallarvegen, and could never forget that. and now enjoing again with your routes. cheers from argentina
Wow, sensational! As always with your videos, this is again a masterpiece! I really love the way you are putting everything together thus creating an amazing storyline and phenomenal pictures! Better than every nature report!
What a great trip! I love hiking in this region, Svukuriset is a favorite. Watching your video I've almost decided I have to go back thus summer. Thank you for the inspiration!
In Norway a lot of people are living close to the nature, to make it possible to reach for a lot if people. I was born in Oslo in the fifties and grew up at a small place in Nordmarka north of the city where I felt happy to run or go skiing through remote forest areas to my school in Nittedal.
No words again Mathew phenomenal insight into this absolutely breathtaking country 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏴🏴🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🏴🏴🏴🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🏴
You make me wanna go back here even more now to this place as i grew up here. Very good video! Regarding the animals you can find it's mostly moose, reindeer and roe deer. The rarer ones are red deer, brown bear, wolf, wolverine and lynx.
Great video, and a great area of hiking/cykling/canoing(!) for sure! But the Alaska of Europe? I live in Trondheim, just some 150 km north of Røros, and never heard of that expression of the area. Northen Sweden, with Sarek and Padjelanta National Parks, is truly the "Alaska of Europe"! Mighty mountains, and a huge untouched area of pure wilderness!!
Nice video, looked like a fun trip. I would love to have a few details of the route from Tufsingdal to Alvdal. There are a few options and easy to get lost :) . As for Femunden being remote... it is a large area and but quite accessible. Plenty of hikers and mosquitos in summer, much quieter at the end of August. For biking, Røros as base camp or starting point gives you lots of routes.
Yet another amazing bike pack video. 🤩🔥 I really enjoy watching you're videos and plan which routs are suited for me. This one is not for beginners! I think increasing tourism significantly by sharing videos are somewhat true. Mostly cause youre fysical capacity on the bike are well above average. 😅 I, for one, won't even attempt copying youre schedule without more lokal testing (example - 100k, 3-4 days in a row). 🙌 Look forward to the next one. 🤙
Great video, Matthew! The route from the store in Tufsingdal is part of the route of North East Gravel which takes place in August and starts from the town of Tynset passing the town of Røros. If you have the time you should take part in this years edition of North East Gravel, as it's a really great event and a beautiful course/route. You could also take a look of my video from the event in 2024 ; ruclips.net/video/V8XqN2aw_xc/видео.htmlsi=CzfQh8-tX-cVv6zp

One of the best channels on YT!

What a beautiful video! Mathew, you are a storyteller we don't deserve!
Breathtaking. Truly a place on earth where you see what cannot be seen and hear what cannot be heard. You feel what has never been felt before.
Absolutely stunning! Love your rides and definitely will do some riding in Norway one day. Thanks for taking us along!
Paradise, another magnificent video, thanks a lot Matthew, please keep going
What a treat! Thank you.
That man is doing more for Norwegian tourism and soft power than anyone else at the moment.
If only you worked for VisitNorway!

👏 probably my favorite video of yours. Never heard of the area before.
Thanks 👍
Fantastic video and adventure Matthew. Femundsmarka was already on my list - it just rose to the top 🙂
Yes, Ian! One for 2025 for sure!

I discovered Fæmunden about 25 years ago. Fantastic (and large!) area.
Yeah,Røros!😃❤❤❤ I told you, it's great there!
Another classic. What an adventure, spectacular 😊👍👍👍👍
Thanks Andy 👍
Looks an awesome place, would love to go with a kayak too

Amazing area and views but looked challenging for a bike in some area, would be great for hike.
This vid is awsome

The white is not moss, it is lichen, lichen, lichen and lichen
Oh no, why is it your final documentary for a while??! 😢
Yooo Matthew are you on Wandrer?
No, don't know it

I watched your excellent video last year and followed you on Strava when you rode the race! Looked amazing! Well done!
@ Thanks mate!
...because it's not Fjord -Norway!
Please write date and time in logical style: day.month.year. Time as 1 to 24 hours. It's much easier.Thanks.
Logic/ease is cultural (and also, to a point, individual). However; it is written like you ask for, so I dont see your problem.
It‘s not easier if you read it in your head. His convention follows common usage and spoken English language.
What about wild animals there 😅🫣
