Very tastefully done. The bags are sized for the bike perfectly. (Visually) would it be possible to get a couple dimensions from you ? Whats your length or distance between bag and bike at each point. I noticed they look shorter in front than rear. Ty

Great job the bags are perfect nice fairing the bike turned out great the license plate bracket I probably would have tried to find something better
The cost of that one and all the modifications that had to be done don't seem worth it but again an awesome job with the bike

Hey man where did you buy the headlight extension block and the bags? I found similar ones but they have lights in them which i dont like

You didn't have any issue with your headlight wire harness not being long enough for the extension? I heard we have to get longer headlight wires to use extension block. Is there a simple plug in extension for it cuz I can't do wiring at all cuz it's way out of my league although im pretty mechanically inclined, I just cant comprehend wiring nor do I have a desire to.
No the stock wiring harness is plenty long enough

Yeah they are good for a hat or a hoodie. Not much more. But that’s all I need it for.

How did you mark the holes for the bracket?
I had someone hold the bag up to the side of the bike with the two fender bolts, removed on one side, and then used a permanent marker from the inside of the fender to mark where the holes should be drilled on the bag.
Make sure you leave enough space between the bag and the suspension at least 2 inches
@@DapperDavidson ok thanks… your custom saddle bags install is the best I’ve seen for a sportster it just lines up with the fender perfectly and spacing from the sides are just enough it just looks like it’s made factory. Great job!

What’s the name of those saddle bags ? I like them they seem to be the right fit, I bought a set of Harley style bags but there too big for my sportster

I used the same bags on my street bob they are trash. You’ll come to find out that the hinges are junk and they are just a fucking mess altogether. They look good. The price of them being cheap as hell show the quality. I just needed them for one camping trip so the price is fine. I even made an aluminum frame for them and still hated them.
Dang man that sucks, I’ve had mine for a year and a half and no cracks and the hinges still work great. Maybe just a bad set
