- Arms Open meant so much to the three of us. It sums up our journey together from the start, always there for each other. It also sums up our best friend, he was there for friends and family above everything else. That’s what #TheScriptFamily is all about. Mark would want us all to keep going so that’s what we’re going to do. We’d like to celebrate Mark at our next two shows with you. Hold up a digital candle on your phone during Arms Open and we’ll all remember him together. 🕯️

Being Irish this hurt me to hear Mark sadly passed , in the bars and clubs of Dublin the The Scripts music will always live on RIP Mark Sheenan🙏🕊️I was fortunate enough to see Mark and the boys at Croke Park back in 2015 and they completely owned the stage and had the crowd in the palm of there hands 🙌 Mark just wasn’t an excellent guitarist he also had a beautiful voice which many fans got to see at live shows I will finish of my comment by saying what Danny always says “ Welcome to The Script family baby” thanks for making Ireland 🇮🇪 and the world a better place Mark we will miss you dearly friend🕊️

I'm a Filipino and I've listened to you guys since I was in late high school. You guys help me realize a lot of good things in life through your songs. Now I have a family and I just wanna say that sheehan was one of the coolest lead guitarists that I've looked up to, and he will always be in my memory whenever I listen to your songs. RIP sheehan. ♥️🙌☝️

I had the privilege to finally hear them live last year. It was a dream of over 12 years for me to meet them, so I waited for them backstage. When Danny and Mark were finally outside and walking towards me, I stood there, frozen in utter disbelief (every word in my vocab by then had left my mind). A dream was coming true for real, and I just went speechless and started crying...Mark instantly hugged me, said, "Hey, no crying! Come on! Let's take a picture" and he swiped on my phone and opened the camera, and that's how I ended up having pictures with them!
What a legend. So loved. So incredible. The Script Family loves you forever Mark, and we'll be there with Danny and Glen. ❤
This still breaks my heart, Mark will forever be the light in our lives, he will always be loved and sadly missed 🖤

I cannot begin to even explain how much all of you mean to me, and how much Mark must have meant to to you, Danny, Glen, and the rest of your team and family members. I met him once in Portland, Oregon back in 2010, I believe it was. You played the Crystal Ballroom. Such a great guy, and group. My all time favorite. I have a studio in my home and have been playing and or producing music for over 50 years, and I cannot tell you how much your music inspired how I write music today. If I am lacking inspiration, I just go listen to one of your albums. I have them all. I also lost almost 50 pounds running on a treadmill, just grooving to your music, and that is all. Love you guys. I hope someday, I can share a pint with you. Rest In Peace, Mark. You will be missed.

You guys were mine and my mom’s favorite band of all time. She passed back in September of 2021, and had requested that I make sure Army Of Angels be played at her service. Half of your songs bring a tear to my eye. Mark will be dearly missed, may he fly high and forever.

I have thought about him so much over the past 6 weeks. Shed many tears and prayed many prayers. For his family, his band mates. Everyone who loved him. I wish we knew what happened. It’s hard not knowing but I also understand it’s not our place to know unless the family wants. I can respect that ❤ I can’t imagine seeing TS without him. But as y’all said, he’d want y’all to go on! I had plans. I had plans to see TS with my youngest daughter next time they came to Texas. I have seen them with each of my girls. TS is one of the only things the 4 of us have in common. We’ve all bonded over The Script in one way or another. I will still bring my youngest next time, God willing, it will just be a little different ❤ Many prayers have been and will go up for y’all. Love y’all so much!

God, it was sooo devastating. The news ruined my birthday. I had a plan to listen to you guys all day long on my birthday (14 April). Nevertheless I just want to say your music is what keeps me positive and motivated. My only friend and only painkiller.

From Karachi, Pakistan. I just came to know about this saddening news. You guys are so special in my life. I was born in a very conservative Muslim family where listening to music was a big no no. I was an extremist. I still remember the first song I (ever) heard was no good in goodbyes. It sparked something inside me. My childhood memories are filled with your songs, no words, give the love around, energy never dies, breakeven, howl at the moon, hurricanes, long gone and moved on, if you could see me now, hall of fame and many more I just can't recall right now.
I regret to not say this in the life of Mark. You guys are my superheroes. I've never met you, never talked to you but the impact you guys made in my life is beyond magnificent. I feel like I am the child in the freedom child. You guys made me realize the importance of life, the importance of small things, the importance of 'energy' that never dies, how the good things goes back around. I feel like I'm the 'you' in the flares.
Thank you Mark for existing. Thank you for lightening the shine inside me. I'll carry your legacy and feelings in my life. I won't let the cycle die. I promise. You ain't dying Mark. I hope I could've said it all earlier😭. Your chorus in 'wonders' still make me gooo crazyyy wild. Your rap in no words and give the love around is a whole damn philosophy.

The Script is like the second group that I love every members equally without bias. The other one is Il Divo. Both groups/band have a member passed away each, and both times, I cried. We never met, Mark, and yet you feel so close. Your band have always been there through my ups and downs, amazingly you always have a song that's perfect for everything that happens in my life. My heart has been broken since I heard the news. This band means so much to me, and my husband and I love the Script so much. I cannot imagine the pain Danny and Glen, and Marks family and everyone else is going through. He will be remembered forever, and can never be replaced.

I'm a Portuguese fan of many years now, and I especially treasure the first time I met you lads in person, it was April 1st, 2015, I was a proud flag bearer leading you up to the stage in Lisbon, what a day filled with unforgettable memories! Then it was Croke Park, in Dublin, such an emotional day!... and so many other gigs and meeting you after the shows, watching you appear on TV, Instagram moments and sharing happy times with the #Scriptfamily in so many places. So the sadness and the loss of Mark is a feeling that will never go away, but I feel so grateful and privileged for all those moments in my life and I will continue to support and love The Script, always ❤
His absence will be felt, but his legacy will live on. Thanks for sharing your life and gifts with us Mark Sheenan and thank you for the music. May God Himself comfort all his loved ones in this time.

A truly beautiful tribute ❤️ As a single Mum, I have bought every album as they released and my kids grew up loving them. It was my bucket list fave for us to watch you boys live and that night Danny stood next to us and we watched the Script, live, in front of us! What an amazing tribute to an even more amazing person. What would it have been hard to make this. Looking through all of your old videos, seeing him being there. And then having to realise that he isn't here anymore. I'm wishing you all lots and lots of love and strength. And he may not be here anymore, but as you guys have sang for yourselfs, his energy will never die! He will forever live on in our minds, our memories, in pictures, in video's in your music. @@Gki627 yes. We're gonna keep saying it until ppl wake up to the global dem0cide. The Script had a tour in America last summer and the 💉 was required for entry into the country. Then Mark dies of a "brief illness" less than a year later. Do the math. It's way past time to have this out.
I've been following you guys since 2008 when your first album came out. I was 9/10 years old and now I'm almost 25. I grew up with you guys' music and it feels so crazy Mark is no longer here but I'm sure he's watching over you guys and cheering you on in all that you guys do! Thanks guys for all the effort and just amazing music you've shared with us. I've been so lucky to see you guys 6 times and I cannot wait to join you guys and celebrate Mark at the Wolverhampton show in a couple weeks! Much love!
