Not only did they both sing in their character voices, not only did they simultaneously somehow pull off an emotional performance, Troy is literally playing the guitar!
She lost her father 2 years before that, that made her probably even more emotional to the lyrics
Nobody is going to be able to play Ellie and Joel like this two amazing actors

Their casting for Joel and Ellie is pretty good, I'll watch regardless just to see what they pull off. Honestly can't think of what they could do to elevate what we got in these two games. Pretty much peak of interactive storytelling.

Well, if you didn't know - in movies they sometimes have one person to play a character(model) but the person who gives a voice to that character could be different, so this is not impossible to invite some guy who looks like Joel but also have Troy to be a voice actor again.

How have I never realized so many of the characters who’s voices I loved...I’ve never realized I’ve seen them before on RUclips.....😕I feel like a tree.
Don’t worry I must be like a Mountain Ash then cause I’m a big fan of Elle in TLOU and Paterson in Blindspot and only recently realised they were the same voice. We can all be trees together

@@Teekayhuey_TK Druckmann said it'd be very difficult to come back to the Last of Us game world for a 3rd. I really hope there's some DLC with some happy closure for Ellie. And for a 3rd game something with Lev might be interesting. There was a lot there to work with, Scars and Wlf. Or maybe far enough in the future for Jesse and Dinas son to be in it.

At the very end though I was glad Ellie let her go seeing the shape she was in. More for Ellie than Abby. I hated that Dina wasn't still there when Ellie got back. That's what I'd like in a DLC, Ellies happy ending finally.
