Incredible film about this hidden gem. I used to go running here before it was renovated. Thick sand and in it's natural state. I remember seeing HUGE eagle's nest (three in a row)and jumping fish. Such an incredible sight

Bob and staff, an outstanding public education tool! Really impressive. Wish I lived nearer and could visit and work there. You may have heard the archaeology lab in the New Smyrna Museum in New Smyrna Beach has been renamed the Grange-Moore Archaeology Research Center. Still miss him and his knowledge. Hope all OK over that way. Dot Moore

Nicely done video...thanks to the Friends, longtime vols Jim and Emma, and all involved. During my tenure with Pinellas County TV, Weedon Island was a primary client on my "beat." Among other projects, I spent 7 years documenting the recovery of the 1,100 year old dugout canoe; detailed videos available. Another 2-part video I'd recommend is the 2012 symposium, "For The Love of Weedon," which brought together many associated with its modern history.
