Did she really believe in her heart of hearts that her man was gonna destroy "ALL" (if any) of the evidence they uncovered in that safety deposit box?! As soon as Sprina saw those incriminating (doctored?) photos of Esme on that tablet, you could see the wheels turning in Spencer's mind. I knew from that moment on he was going to keep the evidence and save it for a rainy day.

They want and need each other. Also, I think that line where Trina implies that her being right is going to be the norm, is gonna come back and bite because whether she likes it or not, Spencer’s actions in this instance may prove to be correct. I like it because they’ll be learning that each of them bring their own strengths to the relationship. And Spencer’s gray can rub off on Trina a bit.
She has to understand she will not always be right. You have to give and take and think your way is the highway. Spencer was tired and went ahead and agreed with Trina on that statement. Trina and Spencer have so much to learn but they love each other.

In my opinion Trina is too judgemental, and a need to be right, which can be viewed as arrogance;a behavior, I believe, stems from her mom. I also understand her not liking secrets because they can be detrimental to relationships and families, but that's not always the case. Second, it's one thing to say you don't like secrets, but when you're told the truth can you handle it? It's no different than if someone says, I want you to be 💯 percent truthful or I want your honest opinion. But when you offer it up to them they get an attitude. I see some flaws with Trina(which is fine, because we're all human) She ridicules Spencer for taking issue with Joss in her not being upfront about what she did to Cam. Spencer flat believes Joss is lying. Trina wants him to let it go. That it's none of his business and yet she's in her mom and Curtis's business. Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries. I don't see Trina living by example in regards to what she has said to Spencer in him taking issue with Joss and her secrets. I don't see her minding her own business in terms of her parents personal affairs. If you're going to have a code for which you expect others to follow then you should start with self. This is why it's important for Parents and adult children to have boundaries set and no blurring of the lines. This a complete mess. Lastly, while the show has our girl out here caping for her mom, she has no idea the house that's about to fall on her. We'll discuss this some more, because this black and white mindset Trina has isn't going to work.
I agree, just because Esme claims to have lost her memory, there are people that testified under oath as to what she did and identified her as well. Maybe the writers should have focused on that, instead of the amnesia 🤔 which she does not have. This shows in her face at certain times.
I'm with Spencer on this. Even though he's keeping secrets right now and Trina's kind of scary when you cross her.😅 Sprina will be fine in the long run I'm sure.
I agree with you 💯 When he told her that if that's how she feels she can go, did you see the subtle look of shock she had? She wasn't expecting that. She'll be steaming for a bit but she'll get over it. After all he had to trust her on the Haunted Star. Trust goes both ways💯

Did anyone ever find out other then Sonny and Valentin? And this is something Trina needs to accept about Spencer. Yes Spencer has grown and evolved as a person but that there is a side to him that's Cassasdine. There are things he will do in the name of his family. Things Trina doesn't agree with. Things that aren't as black and white as they appear. Whatcha wanna bet he'll tell Cameron or Cameron will find out and Cameron won't be surprised one bit? Cameron knows who Spencer is and accepts him for who he is. Right now it feels like she's only loving the good parts of who he is. She can't do that. Because all of those parts the good and the bad come together and make Spencer who he is. She's going to have to decide if she can love the Cassasdine in him. All this drama, they really need to leave Portia out of it.

I agree with all of this. Part of Trina's problem, and you can thank Portia for this, is that she was groomed to be a people pleaser and to see the world in black and white; therefore Trina pushing back against her mother or even questioning her is automatically shot down because Portia created a facade of perfection and do-gooder image; only for Trina to find out 20 years later her mother is anything but that. And she's about to find that out once again when it's revealed that her mom teamed up with Esme to help split up her and Spencer. And I'd also like to say that Trina seems to forget that she too withheld being with Spencer during her trial until she was questioned on the stand. Then Ava back in February stressed to her that life isn't all black and white; that there are shades of gray. I feel due to Portia infantalizing her daughter is what's causing her to think in this way. She's coddled her to the extent that Trina goes through life with rose colored lenses; thinking things get done without those in power breaking rules/laws. Trina is having difficulty coming to terms with who she really is. That she wasn't supposed to fall for the bad boy; although I see Spencer as another Valentin. Good guy all around, but willing to go dark if it means protecting those he loves. Trina does this thing where she says: "I hate that I'm always wrong about you" or "I keep telling people that you've changed. Why do you care what other people think? Is it their life or yours? As if she needs to justify being with him. If you look closely both of these characters worry too much what others think of them rather than them being comfortable in who they are and why they were drawn to one another in the first place. This is all about learning to grow and evolve as a couple💯
Tabyana and Nic played this scene so well. At :40 Spencer turns away from Trina and it's clear he has his own plans on how to deal with the evidence. Trina believes she knows what's the right thing to do and assumes she has convinced him..."So, WE agree that..".. Honey, Spencer shuts his eyes!😀 Just lying. He can't even look at her. I I trust he is only concerned for her safety and shoos her away because of it. I don't like that he's still keeping something from her when she stated that she would end things if he did. And she was serious.

Sprina is a beautiful opportunity GH doesn't seem to know how to properly appreciate or deal with. The Haunted Star scenes and reunion of T & S after the drone were great! The return to PC tedious, the propping of Jex frustrating. Fans deserve better than 4 obstacles at once(Esme, Ace, Portia, fake evidence?) and bickering. Respect the Sprina fans- we've waited years. The good quality of writing like with the Haunted Star is needed.
Not really. Esme is literally a plot point. When Spencer said he would follow Esme anywhere as long as she had Ace. The point of that conversation was for Portia to overhear it. It had nothing to do with propping Esme as a character. Now we see Esme again this week with Portia. Everything is falling into place.
This is one of those “Both things can be true” scenarios….I get Trina’s perspective. She’s a good girl who grew up around law enforcement and she had her own recent experience with he judicial system that shook her. She’s doesn’t typically color outside the lines and is afraid that Spencer will do himself real harm by using this evidence…And Spencer’s not wrong for keeping it. He knows how dangerous Esme is and that they haven’t been able to nail her for anything(I still roll my eyes at the show making her outsmart everyone). Why not have an insurance policy to use later? What doesn’t make sense is this narrative that they could get into trouble for having this potentially fake evidence. Just give it over to the pcpd to authenticate. That seems the most logical move to me. Sometimes it feels like GH is telling the audience “we know it doesn’t make sense, but just go with it”. That’s how this comes off.

I like this scene at 1:46 and them playing with each others hands so cute. It just sucks that Trina’s family doesn’t see that spencer is on their side when it comes to making trina see the value in making it work with her family seemingly beca his family is broken so if he can’t fix his he’s going to try and push for hers to work.
Don't get me wrong, I love Spencer and Trina, but she needs to be accepting of the fact that he's a Cassadine. That's part of who he is. There's always going to be that mischevious side. He is a good man but he will always have that twinkle in his eye. Its who he is. A zebra can't change their stripes just as much as a Cassadine can't stop being a Cassadine. Even Alexis the most anti-Cassadine of all of them, has a Cassadine side. Cassadine doesn't equal evil. Nikolas did a lot of good before life ripped Emily and his soul from him (and he's never been the same since). My point is, Trina is so bent on having Spencer ignore his Cassadine side, but if she could be more accepting of it, there's so much good the two of them can do with it.
I think there will be shift in Trina at some point. Remember she told Marshall that she is learning that life isn’t black and white. It’s hard because she’s been so straight and narrow for so long but we all have our moments of clarity, when we learn that the linear path isn’t always best. She’ll come to see Spencer is new lights soon and that will help shape her views.
@@lexi6797 I hope so. Spencer lies to Trina because she views anything Cassadine as bad. He's ashamed of that part of himself so he intentionally feels he has to keep it from her. That's not right and to me, is an impedus to them ever having a relationship on equal footing. The foundation is there, but they both need to work on these issues in order for them to achieve happiness. When I take a look at Nikolas, Emily was the only relationship he had where he wasn't judged for being a Cassadine. Sarah and Gia, both disliked and wanted to change him. Its another reason why her death was so devastating. He never had that kind of support again and its kinda the reason his Cassadine side swallowed him whole.
I love Spencer and Trina too however I can understand where she is coming from with the lying because when he meet her he was lying about who he was then he continued to lie during the trial when she was being prosecuted after Esme framed her and only came forward at the last minute to save her. Trina has every right to not want to be with someone who lies when he feels he is protecting her or the truth is uncomfortable for him and this is the first ultimatum due had given him in their relationship. However do I think he should destroy that evidence Hell no I don't think all of it is fake and he did the right thing keeping it now he just needs to avoid talking about it with her so as to not lie directly to her face or tell her straight up what he did if she asks😂 but I think they will make it through and I don't think the arguments between them will last much longer we will get more sweet scenes coming up soon.

Thinking Spencer knows Esme and he got to outsmart her. At the hospital that day, 2 weeks ago. She was being drug tested for that job. Spencer asked her why she was there, and it led to her telling him and his family play games but she can play the game also. Trina is hurt because of what Esme did to her and others. She and Spencer need to sit down and talk about what happened and where they go from here. That evidence is real and Esme should face what she did.
What is it about Spencer & Trina that GH is making them jump hoops and not Joss & Dex. Also, when Joss was with Cameron, they had sex but not Trina & Spencer. Spencer my man, you got to tell Trina that you love her and give her that dove with a ring. GH you know what Sprina fans want to see. Please make this happen or maybe GH higher ups are scared to put this hot couple in the bed together.

I heard Jack Montgomery is coming to town as himself. They need to stop trying to fix what isn’t broken. They have the blueprint and formula…Nikolas and Emily, Robin and Patrick , Nikolas and Gia. They just need to learn to let them be happy and stop with the tragic endings. That’s why the fans leave.

Spencer did the right thing by keeping that evidence, because somewhere in all this, it is going to be real in the end. Esme does not have amnesia and she never has. The writers are going to have to let Spencer stay focused and not so hot-headed, because he is right about Esme, Josslyn and Dex. Please do not let Spencer stay in the house with Esme, while Laura and Kevin are gone, find a way that him and Trina can go on this adventure as well. Has anyone watched this entire episode? GH pissed me off! Dog on Joss and Dex got this whole romantic dialog, and they're telling each other "I love you" with how we met and fell in love montage. Then we have to watch Spencer lying to Trina and Portia, trying to break them up. I don't know how to feel. Every step forward seems to have two steps back... Can they have at least one whole day of peace? SMH...
Everyone else on gh moves at a snails pace. What’s going on with Jex is the exception, not the rule. I’m sure there’s a reason for the quick way they’re having them burn through relationship milestones, I just don’t know what it is exactly….let them have it. They have manufactured angst around Sonny and what else? Not much. Dex doesn’t even have a background. No friends, family, hobbies, concrete history…this isn’t meant to last imo. Bc no matter how they present it to me, Cam was right, this relationship started with cheating and you know what they say about how u find someone…. I’m with you about needing some down time for Sprina. It’s been one crisis after another for over a year. We all have been very vocal about just wanting some quiet moments for them to enjoy being a couple. Dates. Flirting. Conversations about life that aren’t rooted in propping others. Sometimes it feels like the show wants to milk them dry bc of their popularity. So instead of letting them flush out their relationship they have to help advance other characters 🫤

Individually and together, the actors and characters are multi-layered. It’s more than physical attraction. Dex and Joss are just cringe. Let them be obsessed with each other. @@nfgc86 I just wanna say, thank you for pointing out what happens to those who's relationship began with cheating, because that's exactly how I feel about Portia and Curtis relationship. They're both cheaters who cheat. I went back and watched the confrontation between Trina and Portia regarding who her biological father was, and someone had stated the obvious; that Portia knew exactly who the father of her child was, especially if her and Taggert hadn't slept together. So Portia can't do math? Portia didn't pay attention to how long she and Taggert hadn't slept together? Really??? That right there points to what type of individual she truly is. That deep down she knew who the father was but used the baby as a way to stay in a marriage that wasn't working. So according to Portia, Taggert finally started "loving on her again" (as she put it) because he realized that something was off with her😒😒😒 That to me sounds like manipulation. She got the attention she wanted and Curtis be damned🤔😒 As far Joss and Dex, I think Dex is about Dex. The show has gone out of it's way to build up this faux romantic love story that simply falls flat. And when you compare their relationship to Sprina's and the ACTUAL obstacle's they've had to go through they have a much more solid foundation than Drive-Thru Jex💯

Getting a little bored with their storyline. They have never gotten a chance to be alone to truly truly express their feelings without it being about something dealing with Ace or Dex and Joss. As much as I don't like the Dex and Joss thing, they do have a lot of intimate moments without any distractions unless they are talking about Sonny. I don't really see Trina as a grown woman. She might of age but she still seems childlike.

In my opinion Trina is too judgemental, and a need to be right, which can be viewed as arrogance;a behavior, I believe, stems from her mom. Second, it's one thing to say you don't like secrets, but when you're told the truth can you handle it? I don't see Trina living by example in regards to what she has said to Spencer in him taking issue with Joss and her secrets. I don't see her minding her own business in terms of her parents personal affairs. If you're going to have a code for which you expect others to follow then you should start with self. This is why it's important for Parents and adult children to have boundaries set and no blurring of the lines. This a complete mess. Lastly, while the show has our girl out here caping for her mom, she has no idea the house that's about to fall on her. We'll discuss this some more, because this black and white mindset Trina has isn't going to work.

Did anyone ever find out other then Sonny and Valentin? And this is something Trina needs to accept about Spencer. Yes Spencer has grown and evolved as a person but that there is a side to him that's Cassasdine. There are things he will do in the name of his family. Things Trina doesn't agree with. Cameron knows who Spencer is and accepts him for who he is. Right now it feels like she's only loving the good parts of who he is. She can't do that. I agree with all of this. Part of Trina's problem, and you can thank Portia for this, is that she was groomed to be a people pleaser and to see the world in black and white; therefore Trina pushing back against her mother or even questioning her is automatically shot down because Portia created a facade of perfection and do-gooder image; only for Trina to find out 20 years later her mother is anything but that. And she's about to find that out once again when it's revealed that her mom teamed up with Esme to help split up her and Spencer. And I'd also like to say that Trina seems to forget that she too withheld being with Spencer during her trial until she was questioned on the stand. Then Ava back in February stressed to her that life isn't all black and white; that there are shades of gray. I feel due to Portia infantalizing her daughter is what's causing her to think in this way. She's coddled her to the extent that Trina goes through life with rose colored lenses; thinking things get done without those in power breaking rules/laws. Trina is having difficulty coming to terms with who she really is. That she wasn't supposed to fall for the bad boy; although I see Spencer as another Valentin. Good guy all around, but willing to go dark if it means protecting those he loves. Trina does this thing where she says: "I hate that I'm always wrong about you" or "I keep telling people that you've changed. Why do you care what other people think? Is it their life or yours? As if she needs to justify being with him. If you look closely both of these characters worry too much what others think of them rather than them being comfortable in who they are and why they were drawn to one another in the first place. This is all about learning to grow and evolve as a couple💯

Sprina is a beautiful opportunity GH doesn't seem to know how to properly appreciate or deal with. The Haunted Star scenes and reunion of T & S after the drone were great! The return to PC tedious, the propping of Jex frustrating.
Fans deserve better than 4 obstacles at once(Esme, Ace, Portia, fake evidence?) and bickering. Respect the Sprina fans- we've waited years. The good quality of writing like with the Haunted Star is needed.

Not really. Esme is literally a plot point. When Spencer said he would follow Esme anywhere as long as she had Ace. The point of that conversation was for Portia to overhear it. It had nothing to do with propping Esme as a character. Now we see Esme again this week with Portia. Everything is falling into place.
This is one of those “Both things can be true” scenarios….I get Trina’s perspective. She’s a good girl who grew up around law enforcement and she had her own recent experience with he judicial system that shook her. She’s doesn’t typically color outside the lines and is afraid that Spencer will do himself real harm by using this evidence…And Spencer’s not wrong for keeping it. He knows how dangerous Esme is and that they haven’t been able to nail her for anything(I still roll my eyes at the show making her outsmart everyone). Why not have an insurance policy to use later?
What doesn’t make sense is this narrative that they could get into trouble for having this potentially fake evidence. Just give it over to the pcpd to authenticate. That seems the most logical move to me. Sometimes it feels like GH is telling the audience “we know it doesn’t make sense, but just go with it”. That’s how this comes off.

I like this scene at 1:46 and them playing with each others hands so cute. It just sucks that Trina’s family doesn’t see that spencer is on their side when it comes to making trina see the value in making it work with her family seemingly beca his family is broken so if he can’t fix his he’s going to try and push for hers to work.
Don't get me wrong, I love Spencer and Trina, but she needs to be accepting of the fact that he's a Cassadine. That's part of who he is. There's always going to be that mischevious side. He is a good man but he will always have that twinkle in his eye. Its who he is. A zebra can't change their stripes just as much as a Cassadine can't stop being a Cassadine. Even Alexis the most anti-Cassadine of all of them, has a Cassadine side. Cassadine doesn't equal evil. Nikolas did a lot of good before life ripped Emily and his soul from him (and he's never been the same since). My point is, Trina is so bent on having Spencer ignore his Cassadine side, but if she could be more accepting of it, there's so much good the two of them can do with it.
I think there will be shift in Trina at some point. Remember she told Marshall that she is learning that life isn’t black and white. It’s hard because she’s been so straight and narrow for so long but we all have our moments of clarity, when we learn that the linear path isn’t always best. She’ll come to see Spencer is new lights soon and that will help shape her views.
@@lexi6797 I hope so. Spencer lies to Trina because she views anything Cassadine as bad. He's ashamed of that part of himself so he intentionally feels he has to keep it from her. That's not right and to me, is an impedus to them ever having a relationship on equal footing. The foundation is there, but they both need to work on these issues in order for them to achieve happiness. When I take a look at Nikolas, Emily was the only relationship he had where he wasn't judged for being a Cassadine. Sarah and Gia, both disliked and wanted to change him. Its another reason why her death was so devastating. He never had that kind of support again and its kinda the reason his Cassadine side swallowed him whole.
I love Spencer and Trina too however I can understand where she is coming from with the lying because when he meet her he was lying about who he was then he continued to lie during the trial when she was being prosecuted after Esme framed her and only came forward at the last minute to save her. Trina has every right to not want to be with someone who lies when he feels he is protecting her or the truth is uncomfortable for him and this is the first ultimatum due had given him in their relationship. However do I think he should destroy that evidence Hell no I don't think all of it is fake and he did the right thing keeping it now he just needs to avoid talking about it with her so as to not lie directly to her face or tell her straight up what he did if she asks😂 but I think they will make it through and I don't think the arguments between them will last much longer we will get more sweet scenes coming up soon.

Thinking Spencer knows Esme and he got to outsmart her. At the hospital that day, 2 weeks ago. She was being drug tested for that job. Spencer asked her why she was there, and it led to her telling him and his family play games but she can play the game also. Trina is hurt because of what Esme did to her and others. She and Spencer need to sit down and talk about what happened and where they go from here. That evidence is real and Esme should face what she did.
What is it about Spencer & Trina that GH is making them jump hoops and not Joss & Dex. Also, when Joss was with Cameron, they had sex but not Trina & Spencer. Spencer my man, you got to tell Trina that you love her and give her that dove with a ring. GH you know what Sprina fans want to see. Please make this happen or maybe GH higher ups are scared to put this hot couple in the bed together.

Has anyone watched this entire episode? GH pissed me off! Dog on Joss and Dex got this whole romantic dialog, and they're telling each other "I love you" with how we met and fell in love montage. Then we have to watch Spencer lying to Trina and Portia, trying to break them up.

Everyone else on gh moves at a snails pace. What’s going on with Jex is the exception, not the rule. I’m sure there’s a reason for the quick way they’re having them burn through relationship milestones, I just don’t know what it is exactly….let them have it. They have manufactured angst around Sonny and what else? Not much. Dex doesn’t even have a background. No friends, family, hobbies, concrete history…this isn’t meant to last imo. Bc no matter how they present it to me, Cam was right, this relationship started with cheating and you know what they say about how u find someone….
I’m with you about needing some down time for Sprina. It’s been one crisis after another for over a year. We all have been very vocal about just wanting some quiet moments for them to enjoy being a couple. Dates. Flirting. Conversations about life that aren’t rooted in propping others. Sometimes it feels like the show wants to milk them dry bc of their popularity. So instead of letting them flush out their relationship they have to help advance other characters 🫤

@@nfgc86 I just wanna say, thank you for pointing out what happens to those who's relationship began with cheating, because that's exactly how I feel about Portia and Curtis relationship. They're both cheaters who cheat. I went back and watched the confrontation between Trina and Portia regarding who her biological father was, and someone had stated the obvious; that Portia knew exactly who the father of her child was, especially if her and Taggert hadn't slept together. So Portia can't do math? Portia didn't pay attention to how long she and Taggert hadn't slept together? Really??? That right there points to what type of individual she truly is. That deep down she knew who the father was but used the baby as a way to stay in a marriage that wasn't working. So according to Portia, Taggert finally started "loving on her again" (as she put it) because he realized that something was off with her😒😒😒 That to me sounds like manipulation. She got the attention she wanted and Curtis be damned🤔😒 As far Joss and Dex, I think Dex is about Dex. The show has gone out of it's way to build up this faux romantic love story that simply falls flat. And when you compare their relationship to Sprina's and the ACTUAL obstacle's they've had to go through they have a much more solid foundation than Drive-Thru Jex💯

So so over tired of this angst,angst, angst for Sprina. Could we just let two young people enjoy each other? I love them dearly, but I noticed lately I am numbing out to them especially with this whole shaboozle that will be him Ace and Esme. It is such a turn- off. What is wrong with the writers? If they do, I would be okay with that. I love Trina and Spencer but I feel like Spencer needs to be more honest with her and Trina needs to be less judgy and more accepting of him being a Cassadine instead of trying to change him.

Especially since it looks like we're finally getting the much talked about Dawn storyline, or at least some version of it, if they wanted Spencer to be single and spend more of his focus on that. Getting a little bored with their storyline. They have never gotten a chance to be alone to truly truly express their feelings without it being about something dealing with Ace or Dex and Joss. As much as I don't like the Dex and Joss thing, they do have a lot of intimate moments without any distractions unless they are talking about Sonny. I don't really see Trina as a grown woman. She might of age but she still seems childlike.

That’s just it all joss and dex do is get intimate they don’t do anything else beside be intimate and discuss plans about taking sonny down. They are boring and predictable because it is always the same thing with joss and dex I would rather watch sprina even if at times it gets boring.
