    I have 4 tape lights in total, can I put all 4 on one set of terminals, I see there is a second set of terminals on the power supply end and the tape light terminals end so should I put 2 tape lights on one set of terminals and the other 2 tape lights on the second set of terminals?

      Hi! The preferred way to do it would be to split them and have 2 strips on each lead, but you can certainly use just one output lead from the power supply to power all of them as well if that's easier for you.

    How come no one seem to make a video without the remote control thingy? Some ppl are above 18 and don't need any tecno colours in their rooms.😊

    How do you separate the zones? say I have a zone in the living room, zone for my TV, Zone for a book shelf and last for the kitchen? How does that work and what's the MAX ft I can run this LED..

      Hello. The max run for the strip used in this video is 16.4 ft. as for programming multi zone remote, just pair a different receiver to each zone number. Make sure to not inadvertently pair two receivers to the same zone. Thanks!

    Can you connect directly to a light switch?

    GREAT VIDEO.. what if i have multiple led strips, do i have to get multiple power box?

      Hey. You cannot exceed the maximum run length for these strips, and you can't go beyond 80% of your power supply capacity.

      @@aspectLEDlightingI get that. I used your calculator and found the proper size power supply. Are 2 strips arranged parallel (both hooked to a power supply) or series (power supply to strip 1 to strip 2)?

    • @aspectLEDlighting
      @aspectLEDlighting  17 дней назад

      @@craggslist The total feet of strip that can be wired in series is determined by the maximum run length of the LED strip being used for the project. If the total linear feet of strip needed for your project will exceed the maximum run length, you will need to wire in parallel, being mindful to only load the power supply to 80% capacity. My strip only has black - and white+ so what should i do?

      If you're using a strip light that was made by someone other than aspectLED, they should still work with our controllers and power supplies as long as the voltage matches your power supply's voltage.

    can you show us how to splice the strip to add X amount of wire and then continue the strip further. For instances where you dont want the lights at a corner like a foot or so or longer and then continue the light down.

    can you power multiple controllers from the same power supply? would this be done in parallel... (you could take the controller link out)

    • @aspectLEDlighting

      Yes, you can wire in parallel multiple controllers on the same power supply so long as you don't exceed the overall wattage. Thanks for the question!

    3:50 hi thanks for your video, I have both RGB LED lights and single colored LED lights. For the RGB LED's this was really helpful but I don't know what I have to do with the single colored LED's. I think I have to connect the red wire to the positive supply, but what do i have to do with the black wire? Thank you already 👍🙏

      Hey @jojo_be Thank you for your question! To clarify on a single channel LED strip, you are correct the red wire would go to the V+ terminal and the black wire would go to Channel 1 V- terminal (which on an RGB strip would be the red channel).
