In this clip, Mob James gave his take on the YSL RICO case and didn’t seem too surprised about the entire situation. James explained how rappers today are broadcasting their criminal exploits in their music and the feds are painstakingly paying attention to every lyric which could implicate the artists. He also questioned the mentality of those who create an honest path for themselves look to revert to the streets after they’ve already made it.

I have said before and I say again that the solution is to let every musician who once a link with gangs will pay the price if the said musicians is implicated in any situation such as this and will be taken off the label. A case in point is that of a rapper called Ksoo in Jacksonville whose producer is posting bond for him. You see, it puts the label in bad light and it's bad.

Just on the fact of him actually saying something like that would be financially stabilizing for all victims in the situation plus it would allow him to use his lawyer to use his muscle to talk to the victims to convince them to tell the DA that this deal is wonderful. And that’s all they need in the situation because the DA hast to listen to the victims otherwise the victims will go against the DA in all cases.
