In this clip, Tony Yayo reacted to Eric Holder being found guilty of killing Nipsey Hussle, which led to Tony speaking about meeting Nipsey early in his career. Tony then reacted to Herman “Cowboy” Douglas taking the stand in Nipsey’s trial, which he received backlash over, and Tony explained that people in the streets look at people like a civilian or someone on their level. Tony then stated that he’d never take the stand in a trial, and he added that he’s not looked at as a civilian in the streets. When he interviewed Yayo the first time I didn’t think I’d even be interested. Now I click on each clip I see em. 💪🏽
Cowboy felt he had to do right by Nip by getting on the stand and deading the rumors of Nipsey calling him a snitch. After hearing his interview in court we still don’t get a clearer view of the nature of the conversation. The same thing he said in court we already knew and the verdict wouldn’t have been no different. So he really didn’t have to get up there but that was his personal choice he felt was right. I’m with Yayo on this if you keeping it strictly street you don’t take the stand.
