- All right, we’re one step closer to getting Hailey in her house, we did her first grocery haul , and she did really good. I thought she was going to get way more stuff and her condiments were pretty funny. I actually had to take a picture of it was pretty hilarious, but we had a nice time. It was a nice day and we’re one step closer to getting her moved into her house and I’m very proud of her once again and it was fun going grocery shopping with her and she was just very conscious of what she needed to buy, and didn’t want to take advantage of us helping her out and that was very sweet.

I love that you are helping her get all set up in her first home! My sister and I were just talking about how our mom pretty much just pushed us out of the nest and then judged everything we did without being helpful or guiding us. A guide moving these kids out how to do it right like going shopping with her , getting a housewarming gift and etc ... So many people are at a loss on when is it time ? I could give you so many idea for ages of your kids that people need .

First time food shopping for your own home… What an exciting and momentous experience for Hailey! I remember going food shopping for the first time at college and not having a clue what to buy or what I need. She is so lucky to have you guiding her successfully through this adventure.
Hailey shoulda said yes to everything. It’s ok she will just come home every 2 weeks and do groceries at your house like I do to my mom 😅
Man her grocery shopping is well beyond her years. At that age I was buying ramen noodles, hot pockets , and chicken nuggets! Lol I also didn’t have my mom around to guide me to better choices lmao
To be fair, her mom was guiding her on what to buy for most of it. She didn't even realize she eats ketchup so much.
I was renting an apartment and buying my own but if my daddy was out buying he'd call and I'd meet him at the store. I also used coupons but I don't get those anymore. I only got want I needed.😊

MY SIL and I fight about this as I have done this with all mine and she won't . They move, they move out I think was good as it showed her the brands and she was told what she eats :) The housewarming gifts and all the support is amazing and all without over sharing

So fun! I did this with my kids too, when they moved out. Isn’t it funny how they are so easy/humble when it comes to this? I was like, “you guys, I’m paying, you should definitely get what you need. This will not happen in your life often.” 😂♥️
The works toilet bowl cleaner is the best out there! Everyone i know and have known have bought and used that lololol!! And it's cheap too!!!

I'm surprised that you aren't teaching her to shop with a budget in mind or really looking at prices much at all. I know when I first moved out, I wasn't buying all name brand items or sometimes, really expensive items.
