    I personally believe knowledge is power & I absolutely Googled everything. I was already scared. But when I went to doctors I knew what they were talking about. I didn't have to write things down, I already understood. I felt more at ease & it helped me to know what questions to ask.

    For me I had a cut that took longer than normal to heal than I had a pain off and on in my breast for 4 months before I went to get checked out. I had the lump removed nov 2017. Had my first cycle of chemo almost 3 weeks ago. 5 more to go then radiation and after that hormone therapy. I too am on this journey. Thank you for sharing your experience. I too am staying positive.

    Hi Louisa, you mentioned that you had a pain in your breast, was the pain there all the time or only when pressed? and also was it progressively getting more painful that you could then feel it more and more which then prompted you to see doctors. Best wishes.

    I'm sitting here late at night sleepless because my girlfriend is 6 weeks pregnant, and a lump on her breast that we discovered months ago is even bigger now, and very very hard. I've watched so many of your videos and they bring a bit of relief. She says they wont do a mammogram because shes too young (28). I'm beyond terrified if the results come back positive because I'm sure they wont be able to do chemotherapy on her because shes pregnant. Thank you for the time you take to make these videos!

    I had breast cancer 11 years ago and in December 2020 I felt pain in same breast but had 2 mammograms and 2 ultrasounds and a breast MRI. Well they told me I had stage dormant cancer in that breast and for me to go see my oncologist , but I had to be close monitored every 6 months with a mamo and MRI. I dont know what to think .

    • @LouisaGordon
      @LouisaGordon  3 года назад

      Stage Dormant? Wow I don't know what to think about that either. It's great its dormant, but you must feel uncomfortable knowing that it is there? Stay calm, keep the stress down and keep doing what you are doing to keep it dormant? How are you feeling about it now?

    I've had a funny pain in my left breast for about 4 years, just a niggling pain but i could pin point it. But in the past 4 weeks i've grown a lump under the breast, like a thickening of tissue that I can grab. I went to the doctors today and the doctor seemed quite chilled, as i'm 25 she didn't seem too concerned but has referred me to the breast clinic, she guessed the lump was 5cm. I was relaxed about it pre doctors, but now I feel very worried. Is there any advice you can give me to prepare myself for the breast clinic? I've just been onto your instagram and i'm so pleased you've got the all clear! What a trooper. xxx Hattie

    • @LouisaGordon
      @LouisaGordon  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Hattie, absolutely, I did a video about the actual clinic here ruclips.net/video/ilwMIN1k91o/видео.html and what to expect. I had no idea what was coming at the clinic ,I thought they were just going to look at me and tell me it was nothing, but they were very thorough. I hope its nothing for you! The not knowing was the hardest part of the whole journey for me! You get the results really fast so at east you will know either way pretty soon. If it is nothing, you can breath a sigh of relief. If it is something, at least you will know and a plan gets put in place pretty fast to sort things. Let me know how you get on, you can do this, you will be way stronger then you ever know you can be! Fingers crossed for you

      Hi Louisa, Thanks so much for your warm and quick response. I'm 27, not sure why I put 25 (the 5cm mention threw me off I think) but even so, breast cancer at my age is 'statistically uncommon' from what i gather, so fingers crossed. And as you said it's the unknown, whatever the outcome it'd like to know what doing on under my skin, you must have been so incredibly brave battling through your cancer and how amazing that you've set this channel up so folk like me can have a bit of comfort when they're unsure about what's going on. I'll certainly keep you posted whatever the outcome. Keep being awesome! Xxx Hattie

    • @hattiemaud6556
      @hattiemaud6556 6 лет назад +1

      Hi Taylor, to my great relief it was nothing at all to be concerned about. I have cystic breasts and fibroadenoma, which feels painful at times and the solid lump is still beneath my breast. The doctors assured me I should just forget all about it but was right to have it checked out, so whatever you are feeling please make sure to go to you doctors and get referred to the breast clinic just so you can have all bases covered. I feel very fortunate to be in the position I am. xxx

      Hattie Maud I was checked out too. To my relief I too have fibrocystic breasts. Thank God! Hey sweetie I heard iodine and selenium are good to get rid of these issues. Look into it. Thank you for the update. God bless.
