You couldnt have said it any better. I to have rode many harleys all great bikes. But i gotta tell ya. Out of all of them i love my sporty the best. Its sleek and sexy fast and loud. So much fun on this bike

Yep ... had them all too. I just picked up a 06 1200 Sportster low for 3k with 17k on it. I'm changing the pipes and the seat and cleaning it up for some two wheel fun and I'm 68, never too old for a Harley.

I had an 883 that I customized and would still have it today if some asshole hadn't T-boned me at an intersection it was totaled. I'm currently looking for a 1200 to replace it.
Im a new rider, my friend has a Harley sportster 1200 and he lets me ride it. I thought it was cool but i just rode an Indian scout and it blew my mind. Again I am new but I think that the scout is a better bike and inspires confidence in my riding. The whole bike doesnt shake at a stoplight and the shifts arent audible from a block away. He is now contemplating trading in his Harley after riding the Scout aswell.
It is a bit like comparing apples to oranges. The Indian Scout is a modern design. The Sportster, most Harleys, and I think most Indians have a more traditional engine design.
Sure but that’s an excuse I have been hearing about Harley’s as an excuse of why it rattles and clunks. It’s like Tesla’s with fitment gaps everywhere, everyone just says oh it’s because it’s a tesla. I feel as a new rider I’m looking for some sort of refinement even from entry level cruisers in a company’s lineup.
Some people love that muted feel and some love the rawness of the vibrations that makes the bike come to life and to each is own. They make so many motorcycles that there is something for everyone. The most important thing is to get out there and ride.
It’s not refinement it’s a lack of character. Harley patent their engine tones and vibration cause it’s the feel that makes you love it. Why do you think every manufacturer with a cruiser copies Harley, especially Indian? It’s because they got it right. I do like some of the Indian’s, like the FTR. I just am not a fan of the bikes they copied from Harley.
@@theinfinitryda perhaps you are right, again, this is from me a new rider who has ridden a total of 5 bikes briefly. I am planning on going to a harley dealership this weekend to broadened my mind.
Really leaning towards getting this model the more I keep watching videos about it haha

What do u think of the 2022 sportster x. The motor is part of the frame. I own 05 sportster roadster 1200
I think you’re referring to the Sportster S. It’s a video on my channel about it. It’s a different beast. It’s fast, fun and refined. It’s lacks some of the character of the EVO motor but it has a different purpose.
I ended up buying a 2019 Softail Slim instead.
That’s a good bike as well. How you liking it?
@@theinfinitryda Loving it so far. Unfortunately I’ve only been able to ride it about 150 miles so I don’t have much experience on it yet. It’s got short shots on it and they’re loud which is awesome! Neighbors hate me for it but oh well lol.

Five reason to buy a sportster
The first is the indigenous only have five ways to act lie beg steal communicate screw another over
The second is the rainbow does not fit over sport star badgers
The third is they steal an image then sell it back and call it a sports er rating
The fourth is there still unsure of a motors cycle so buy it to copy
The fifth is the indigenous.needed to expand it out so they would at least gain one of the ways but only to realise the harley davidson.is never for sale so why don't they be a sport and starry of somewhere else
