SOLO IN IRAQ! How Dangerous is ERBIL, IRAQI KURDISTAN, Really?

- Had the amazing opportunity to visit my 59th country, Iraq. Erbil, a city in the autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan region in the north of the country, shattered all expectations and preconceived notions I had from Western media. The narrative that the West loves to show about Iraq is war, rubble, and strife, and that couldn't have been more wrong upon my visit to Erbil, Iraq. I met the friendliest people, had incredible food, and was amazed at how beautiful the city is. Come with me to debunk the stereotypes of Iraq that we've held for years.

Hope you enjoyed your stay in Kurdistan. My favorite kabob in the world is from Kabob Yaseen, which was the place you ate at in the Grand Bazaar. ☀️

@@VizonTravelshaha funny man.
How long was your visa there and how are the prices out there for hotel and food and transportation?
Why didn’t you to the erbil international airport
I did but I might not have filmed a lot of it- that's how I entered and exited the country! The ending of the video is from the cafe inside Erbil International Airport :)
So you first go Istanbul international airline then you went to erbil international airline
Welcome to Iraq 🇮🇶
bro change the title of the video if u dont want so much hate in the comments erbil is kurdistan no iraq
Bro thought kurdistan was a city full of crime you were wrong dude nothing happens in Kurdistan more than other Europian countries
American and European media paints Kurdistan in such a negative light sometimes- I wanted to travel and visit to see for myself because I heard of other travelers speaking of how safe it was. And I was greeted with the greatest hospitality- Kurdistan is WONDERFUL bro! It's so much safer than my home city
this is kurdistan
Such a beautiful place :)
Just kurdistan!
Why mention dangerous??
Its south kurdistan not iraq
ERbil is not iraq but KURDISTAN
40:57 You need to mix some of the soup with the rice in each spoon scoop you take. Otherwise you're miss out the flavours mixing together if you eat it separately 🥲
Now I feel like an offended Italian for pointing this out 👨🍳
The flavors of the Kurdish food were DELICIOUS. I took some of the rice and dipped it in the soup with some bites and it was GLORIOUS- I need to visit again to eat more haha.
Thank god bro doesnt understand kurdish 😅
Kurdistan is NOT iraq
Jokes on you erbil is the safest city in Iraq and one of the safest in Middle East
This is so true! I hate that American/European media paints Iraq/Kurdistan in such a bad light- I had to visit and see for myself because other travelers say that Erbil is the 4th safest city in the WORLD. Definitely the safest city in the Middle East that I've visited- it's definitely safer there than the city I live in back in America. I miss it
