I had one for two weeks before crashing it at 120mph on the M25 motorway in England and writing it off. Both my passenger and I were surprisingly not hurt. Fun little car.

I had a 1997 GTI VR6 12V with a GIAC performance chip in the ECU. Windsor blue metallic pearl. I loved that car. Scorpion SS exhaust. The fastest I remember having is 236kph (on a racetrack).

Mein VR6 von 9/92 war mit Ausnahme des Motortuning bei Abt Sportsline in Kempten völlig original. Das dickere Doppelendrohr der ersten Serie passte optisch gut zum VR6. Außerdem habe ich ihn nie so gequält.

Man, you lost some precious tenths revving the engine that much. Your engine is stalling every time you reach the red line. Shift earlier.
Could have cams which would bump up the power band. Never know...

I bought a clapped out but functional corrado in 1999 for little money. I was 19 and wanted to insure it, and the insurance company laughed at me through the phone 😂 Ended up with a corolla e9 1.6XLI that was cheap to insure and swapped the engine with the 4a-ge, but that is another story 🐓
First, you need learn how to shift, that is not tomos...
i had a mk3 highline and a mk4 r32 both supercharged. miss them both!! i have an mx5 and id love a vr6 motor in it lol

Phoaa da krieg ich auf meine alten Tage sofort Lust mir wieder einen zu kaufen. Ich hatte Anfang der 2000er Jahre einen. Meiner hatte die weißen Sparco Tachoblätter bis 260kmh u die ging er auch fast….zumindest laut Tacho😅
Zu schade, dass die geilen Kisten nicht mehr gebaut werden & immer seltener werden ^^

it looks like when you get "top speed" the hand brake slashes and the light turns on on the dashboard.
The parking brake light coming on and off like this is caused by low brake fluid level... It is right on the minimum and the thing that floats in it to measure it is making contact, but now fully cuz it is right on the edge of the minimum...and it is coming on and off. I had that on my Mk3 and after a week the light stayed completely ON and it turned out that a rear brake cylinder was slowly leaking...replaced it for like 10$..top off brake fluid and its done...

Bastel mir gerade diesen Motor in aufgebohrt und bearbeitet in einen leeren Golf 2. Damit ist man schon sehr schnell unterwegs wenn man mit umgehen kann. 195/50/15 drauf und die Streifenhörnchen sehen nur Rückleuchten....
