Your video is perfect for every one that need to fix his/her own dryer, I just did yesterday on my hotpoit dryer but I learn your technic, it is easy.
This video was perfect! I was able to follow step by step. My dryer was heating up and shutting off after about 20 minutes. what I found was scary. Behind the drum was charred. I cleaned it up and put it back together but when I started it back up the back of the dryer got extremely hot to the touch.
Thanks again for posting this video, I really learned a lot and just how much of a fire hazard a dryer can be. Time for a new dryer.
Great video. Turned out it was a lock washer that came out of a pocket that was lodged between the basket and the bushings it rides on. It fell out when I removed the front panel. Was able to clean out quite a bit of built-up lint. Thanks for posting!!!

7:08 thank you sir for your help you help me and my grandson figure out what we needed to replace on the dryer drum it's the spindle on the the back of the dryer when it is sitting on the side like it's supposed to can anyone tell me what that is called I have a picture but I'm not sure how to send it
Mine had the light core, but after i assembled back it star heating up, but is making a little noise i guess the drum did not got well seated

Fix it, it was to tight
