    Hearing your german actually suprises me because I did not even heard an accent. Keep up and say more things on german ^^

    Your German isn't terrible at all! It's as you said: Sehr gut!!! :D
    I couldn't even hear an accent. Trust me, I live here in Germany for more than 20 years now. But still, the worst part about learning a language is vocabulary...

    Oh wow, I just fell in love with your Japanese pronunciation! I also like how you don't sound so girly! :D I study Japanese in Germany and I have to say that most girls (and even boys) try to speak the language as if they want to win a contest by yelling in a high pitched voice about how cute things are! It is very comforting to see that it is indeed possible to speak in a more serious tone! :)

    found this video on one of those late night youtube black hole binges and when you said Mindless Self Indulgence was in your top 3 favourite bands I instantly got a headache from how happy I was to hear that haha I love them so much, I have msi tattoos and everything. I get way too excited when anyone else likes them seeing as they are not really popular at all here in Australia. Love the Japanese/English format of your videos too. Definitely subscribing

    Incidentally on the gun thing. The nice thing about the "states" is that there are different "states" with very different views on things and a lot of them don't like the populous to have guns and thus make it very difficult to get them..... Those are the one's you want to avoid if you don't want to be shot....

    I first was like "omg, your Japanese is so great, how can someone speak a language, which is not their native, that good?!?!" (not that I know any Japanese, but still)
    But then I remembered, that I'm actually German and just showed myself how to speak English in 7th grade, so by now it feels a little like my second native … oops..

    I can understand your feelings on guns (I was the one who asked the question about the states). I don't like our gun laws here either but at the same time I've never seen one other than on officers. It's kind of one of those things that you need to know where to go and where to stay out of I guess.

    For what it's worth, gun violence across the country isn't as terrible as our media would have you believe. Chicago, Detroit, and some parts of New York City, some big cities in California. those are really the only bad areas. The likelihood that you'd encounter someone actively using a firearm is really quite small. That being said, the bigger tourist destinations are also generally quite safe. Hawaii, Florida, California, Oregon, and Washington are all great places. Anywhere, really. Just be smart, you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, you'd really have nothing to fear.

    @jjangpie 10 лет назад +8

    It is very easy to obtain a gun here in the US but the actual chances of you seeing one or getting shot is like 1 in a million. I've never seen a gun in person in my entire life. There's sooo much more to our country than just guns...So much to do and enjoy just like any other country. But anyways I haven't been watching your videos for that long so I didn't know you spoke Korean or liked kpop too..I also speak Korean and I've been a kpop fan for like 8 years.. So that's pretty cool.

    • @stripedrakun
      @stripedrakun 10 лет назад +6

      It's still a difference whether everyone CAN theoretically be carrying around a gun or not. Being from Europe, I share the same view Hanna has on this topic. I wouldn't want to go to the US because of that utterly useless and dumb gun law. I don't get it anyway why the US even allows such things and I wouldn't want to go to a place where everyone is allowed to carry them around freely. Thanks but no thanks. This is not everyone's opinion though. But you should respect people's opinion when they are against guns and wouldn't want to enter a country like the US where everyone can have one. That's our right as well.

    • @jjangpie
      @jjangpie 10 лет назад +4

      Woah...First of all there was no where in there where I said I was all for guns. I HATE OUR GUN LAWS and I don't support them in any way. But I was little offended that she would say that she wouldn't visit a country cause we could all be carrying guns. Like we're all dangerous criminals or something. When we clearly are not because other people in the comments are saying the same thing. There are dangers in ANY and EVERY country with or without guns. I hate that people make ALL Americans out to be gun carrying douchebags just because of a few. And don't just assume all Americans LOVE guns and love our gun laws. Cause we do not.

    • @WhiteEnglishGirl
      @WhiteEnglishGirl  10 лет назад +4

      jjangpie I try to stay away from London because of the same reason. It's nothing personal. I just think it would be easier to run away from a knife than a bullet =/

    • @stripedrakun
      @stripedrakun 10 лет назад +1

      jjangpie I'm sorry if you felt offended, I didn't mean to say that I think all Americans are carrying guns. I'm from Germany and crimes happen here too.
      But you see, there IS a difference whether it is very hard to obtain a gun or not. If you can basically just walk into a shop and buy one and are allowed to carry it with you, potentially a lot more people will do that. Compared to Germany, a lot more people do own guns in your country, and comparatively more people are carrying them around at all times. So while I do think the US has a lot of nice and rational people, the danger is by fact bigger simply because you guys are ALLOWED to have guns with you all the time and because you are able to easily obtain such a weapon. As easy as that. And that is why I'd rather not go to the US, ever.
      Again, I know crimes are happening here too. But I do feel safer here in my country simply because guns are forbidden and thus less people own one or have one with them.
      I think not wanting to go to the US because of the gun laws is a very reasonable explanation.

    • @jjangpie
      @jjangpie 10 лет назад +2

      stripedrakun But you see that's where people are WRONG. You cannot just walk into a shop and buy a gun and carry it around in the U.S. there is paperwork and licensing that you have to obtain before you can LEGALLY carry a gun in the U.S. its something that has be approved and processed through a system. So that's why not many of us have guns. Its still BOGUS and people obtain them illegally and I would rather just ban them all together. But like seriously the chances of you seeing a gun in a metropolitan city in the U.S. is like the same as you seeing polar bears walking through Los Angeles. But hey..If you're saying you feel uncomfortable going to America cause you might get shot then I mean....That's your decision. But as an American and as a person who's lived here all my life of course I'm going to tell you there's soooo much more here to experience just like any other country and the only guns you'll see is on a police officers' waist maybe. I hate that people think of America that way but I mean...What can you do.

    This might allay your fears of visiting the U.S.: come to Hawaii! Gun violence is *very* rare! We also have warm tropical weather and beautiful sandy beaches! There are also a lot of Japanese and Korean tourists so you could practice if you wanted to! Many of the salespeople additionally speak Japanese - if they start addressing you in English, you could say "watashi wa eigo o hanasanai" and start speaking to them in Japanese! (Salesperson's mind blown!) xD

      Actually, yeah! I wouldn't have a problem with Hawaii; I've never really heard anything about any kind of crime there! Sounds like the place for me :)

    Каково это - думать на другом языке,
    Из говорящих только по-русски не мочь не поговорить ни с кем?
    На что похожи мысли, состоящие из непонятных слов?
    Я бы поразмышлять об этом вряд ли смог.
