      Me as well ( from Lewisham) but i live in So. Cal and have seen my fair share up close not just on the Tely these folks think they can actually get away with mediocre driving skills and a unequipped standard vehicle. Plain Stupid I say. That's why cars here are governed so you can't get away especially when you can't go faster than 110 mph if you do crime here you better come with the business build your ride from the ground up that can take the abuse it will surely get. Movies have nothing on LA Police pursuits you see it all and you can replay it lol.

    The CHP and other California officers need to take few lessons from the Arizona State Police in effective methods of stopping drivers like this one. It never should have continued for as long as it did.

    To anyone saying "wooow really suspicious that the cars all slowed down at the perfect time"
    When you're a driver and I can say that LA area drivers are really good about this from what I've seen
    When you hear a siren you stop/pull over
    The cops have their sirens are as stated in the beginning of the video
    It's not that hard to grasp the concept...at least it shouldn't be

      Yeah, having lived in Long Beach on PCH it's standard when you see lights and the helicopter to get out of the way. It's required by law and if you don't move they will pull you over too and give you a citation. Or worse the idiot suspect will crash into you and kill you or total your car. Whenever you hear sirens and see lights pull over to the right and stop.

    White Interceptors are just SMPV (Specially Marked Patrol Vehicles), not supervisor vehicles. Any of the officers can take them. They are just available to use as a way to blend into traffic more. CHP does not have cages (partitions between the seats) in a lot of their units. But supervisors usually take a unit that does not have a cage. Unless they are LT or higher, or in a special unit, they do not have special vehicles.

    They need something like an Amber alert where the cops can put out an open bounty on anyone who can bring him to a stop. If the reward is 10K and my car is only worth 5K, I'll bring this to an end real quick. 🤠

    5 years minimum state prison sentence for any person leading LE on a chase like this. Build more jails. Some people don't belong on the streets.

    Sad to say. But seems like, everyday you're guaranteed to see a police chase, happening in Los Angeles. In or around it.😕 I live closer, to Bay Area. So, I don't see or hear that as often.

    If this case were with us in Saudi Arabia, you would find the street filled with civilians and crowds of people. Note that the policeman is supposed to have made the movement of obstructing the car from the beginning

    If this was OK or NM, this would have been a 1 minute chase with the criminal who was endangering innocents capped quickly.
