after the walls of the foundation is done and before you pour the slab you need to run your plumbing lines if you are above street sewer lines and planing to have a bathroom in the basement second tip is to have your HVAC run the ductwork first before the plumbers or the electricians
Love it. It's a lot better than asking a builder to build you a home. Builders will build you a garage size home and call it a home and charge you an arm and a leg for it.

I have Microsoft Project with a schedule by the hour and I have a general contractor who has agreed to act as an advisor for an hourly fee. I am nervous but want to do it. This guy sucks ,. Go back to the start. Don't you think you should think about rough plumbing and rough electrical. Do you actually think the subcontractors are going to build your house for you without some direction. Worry more about execution than finality.
