Great video. I was about to request this as it’s been doing my head in. I’m left handed and stood on the left side of the oche. I bought one of those Sight Rights and it moved me to the opposite side of the oche so that my left shoulder was bang in the centre and lined up with the bull. I persisted for a month with it but my averages dropped as did my checkout percentage. I really didn’t like where I was standing and it felt that my darts were blocking my vision. Really uncomfortable. Went back to my old side of the oche a few days ago and got my average back up immediately as well as my checkout percentage. As you say “comfort is key”. Sight Right going in the bin 😂
You’re right. Everyone is different and what’s comfortable for one person is uncomfortable for the next. I’m a lefty as well but I stand to the left of the oche. Tried standing to the right with my left shoulder in the middle and I couldn’t get used to it.
Hello wayne 👋 Whether professional players train their arm in the gym, are there any exercises for what helps to throw better, or is it all, just in throwing hours
@jamesm7721 nah bro I literally said I don't you somehow took it as I did? Imagine all 19k subscribers over had to say where and how they stand on the oche. You're boring mate

It’s comfort!!!!! Being a lefty I stand to the right in a way that my left arm as I throw is in the centre of the board

I throw right handed, but I'm left-eye-dominant. My first dart is often a tad right, so I adjust my stance a tad left for darts 2 & 3.

what's the difference throwing from 7ft 9 and a quarter on match day?
I stand to to left, shoulder in line with the bull. But if i untwist my foot and stand straighter to the board I move over
no one cares
