Thanks WM. Everything you have just said in this video is how I've lived it. Everything! Wasting your arm on those days where frustration can demean my love of darts serves no purpose. 👍 From a 🇳🇿 in 🇭🇲.
My favourite guy on the internet. Thanks Wayne . If all this works I’ll see yah on the world stage😂
I 110% agree with everything u said. As a 15 year old with loads of homework I often find I can’t practice properly until it’s done. It’s what u said about work, travelling etc. I just don’t have the time. I wish darts was my life but it’s not😂 if I practice while I’ve still got work it’s a waste of time for me. Darts are all over the board. Thanks for this video.
I started playing in January. I throw 2- 5000 darts a day. I’m still terrible but no one will out practice me.
That shirt is insane ❤
Can you coat your points with something to grip the board better. Not enough to ruin the board just a light coating off something
Ahh! Now I've been told ! 😀
Solid advice. Do you have tips for how to throw with more power? Thanks
Threw a 14 darter yesterday 😊 107 average. Im PDC ready!
I need an hour a day at the very least in order to improve. Redecorating recently so haven't played as much and it shows. As soon as I started an hour a day again, boom.
Wayne 🎉 LLAP 🖖
I'm a procrastinator so I can't just have a plan and stick to it. I need to casually pick up the darts on my way to the bathroom, and throw them mindlessly. If I go and throw more than 5 minutes, that's when I begin having a goal in mind. It's all about just picking the darts up for me and walking away thinking that any time spent on the board is better than nothing. No pressure on myself. I hear you about picking up bad habits though.
Wayne, do you do any online coaching?
Any tips on dart point length. what difference if any does it make. how to sharpen points. and how can i change the points at home. many thanks
It's all personal preference. I use 40mm points, some lads in my league use 26mm. It's what feels right for your throw. Scuff the points with a bit of sandpaper and buy a repointing tool if you wanna change points.
In lockdown, I practised 3 hours a day. Hit 5 back to back 180's. Went 7 into the 9 then hit treble 7.
Practice two hour/day
How do you do that? You're having a job!
on holding pin do i need to push the pin with my fingers? or just throw it?
I have to practice like a dog to be as shitty as I am!! 😂
Great advice! Thank you for sharing!
Wayne thank you! Love the tips you share 😊
