I only recently began watching NHRA races, and I like what I see. It's a lot of fun seeing people race in this way, and I'm impressed by the Sportsmanship the Crews and Drivers have. You just don't see that in other sports.
There is a lot to this racing a lot to it a whole lot to it I've been watching it for 40 years nhra's got some weird rules and they're very "political" in their own way ...there's always stupid drama with them... see if you can Google NHRA funny car Top Fuel dragster pedal Fest
It was sad to see so few people in the stands. NHRA has got to do something to bring the fans back to watch. Only maybe 300 people sad day in NHRA history

There are way more than 300 people there, I was there. They are all spread out. But yes we could always have more.

They (pro racers to amateur racers) have said laps since I started watching drag racing lately 70's early 80's. Just part of the sport no big deal.
