      You're welcome! Try to feel the water flour ratio, add more water if it's dry and little flour if wet, I'm sure you'll nail it :)

    Must the towels be birds and santa, or can I use lemons and coffee cups? Thank you for the tips! It's been very hit or miss for me and I will try these!

    • @Veganisyum
      @Veganisyum  8 месяцев назад +3

      I keep getting these comments about the towels, I obviously wouldn't mention it if it wasn't essential to the recipe, lemons and coffee cups might just ruin it and you'll end up with chicken masala instead of pita bread :) :) looks like you need some new towels :)

    Can I make the dough ready in the evening and grill it next day morning?

    • @Veganisyum
      @Veganisyum  4 месяца назад

      I think that's a long time to ferment so it might taste a bit sour, but after it's risen you can put it in the fridge till the next morning, you will need to use a good amount of flour so it doesn't stick, it's a lot trickier that way though!

    How warm should the water be? I imagine that if it is too hot, it will kill te yeast.

    • @Veganisyum
      @Veganisyum  2 месяца назад

      Honest answer, I put my finger in it, if I say ouch it's too hot :) so 32-37 degrees Celsius max

      Yeast die above 115F so between 110-115 is what the packet says

    my dough ball was not at all smooth after the first mix and minimal kneading. think it was too wet?

    • @Veganisyum

      What is the protein percentage of your flour? I think that's the problem, mine was 12-13%

    A week ago,I failed because too much liquid by accident
    Today I,m waiting my dough,but bit worry because my yeast didnt foam that much....

    • @Veganisyum
      @Veganisyum  7 месяцев назад +1

      Maybe the water was too hot or too cold, or the room temperature is? Also could be an old yeast. But don't give up, these things always happen to the best of us :)

    Why is my dough tight and like a ball not runny like yours

    • @Veganisyum
      @Veganisyum  Год назад

      Are you using the same recipe as in the video? If not, usually it's lack of water, not enough resting time or it could be the flour has a high protein percentage. They usually sell that as bread flour, I'm using all purpose flour which is 13% protein usually.

    Please do not put salt in your water, yeast and sugar mixture. Your yeast will not bloom! Put the salt in with the flour.

  • @nirmalmadan8840
    @nirmalmadan8840 6 месяцев назад

    Please make it healthy by adding half and half of whole wheat flour and half all purpose flour.
    Try making all the recipes this way. Awaiting your recipes using this mixture of flours. Thank you.

    Mistake One! Never put salt in with yeast! 🤦🏻‍♂️ The later the better and put it in with the flower or dough at the end

    • @DeviAudrey
      @DeviAudrey 3 месяца назад +1

      I put it in with the dry ingredients in the beginning and it's great
