Well it just shows you what a giant leap forward Ren & Stimpy and Spumco was. Everything comes from somewhere and it's interesting to see the beginnings. You have to remember John and his pals were working for DIC, the worst cartoon studio ever, to make this. After this show he, Bob Camp, Lynne Naylor and Jim Smith decided to start their own studio and what they did with Ren & Stimpy raised the bar for cartoons. Some of the stories they wrote for this cartoon later became Ren & Stimpy episodes.
Christopher Howard remember A few of the episodes of the show are lost The lost ones could be the controversial ones and John k made this The guy who made Ren & Stimpy

Charles Thompson In my opinion, I think DiC was a good cartoon studio.
It was worse than Filmation?
I like the way Cecil sarcastically says 'sob'!
I love the MacGyver thing at the end made me laugh.
John K. And Bob Clampit = great anamation!!
1988 I believe.
@MattBL You're absolutely right! It's Maurice LaMarche!
How was this to rough for the kids? How?!! Back in 87-88 all we had was reruns and crap!! This was great!

I'm surprised to see Paul Dini and Bruce Timm in the credits. I mean, this is about as far from the Batman cartoon as you can get.
Really? This kinda looks like Ren & Stimpy animation wise! I guess this is were they started there careers.
Are there more episodes? I think the series is lost.
When did this new version of this old cartoon air.
Nowhere near as good as the original Bob Clampett version.
The only compliment I give this revival is they actually had a kid voicing Beany. Other than that, it's not nearly as good as the original.
what kind of shit is this cartoon... I thought this was the type of cartoon john hated...
