Happy new year! I think this is the perfect video to post my comment. Six months ago my girlfriend cheated on me, claiming I am fat and some other things... So I decided to change myself completely. I started making 5k steps per day, increased my water intake to 14 glasses per day, fixed my sleep schedule and now I get at least 7 hours of sleep every night. But the biggest game changer is my balanced meal plan. I took that meal plan from OnlyMeal, and every day I eat 4 meals. So I never feel hungry, but pounds just keep going down. I exercise at gym at least three times per week. That's it xD From June to end of December I lost 58lbs, and I hope I will drop another 40lbs in 2025.

I personally believe that social media has been one of the worst things for modern society, particularly with regards to the dating market. Facebook honestly wasn't that bad, which was why the late 2000s-early 2010s were still pretty normal. However, things really went downhill when instagram and dating apps hit the scene by around 2014/2015. It basically turned women into attention seeking narcissists and many young men into simps lol.
Absolutely, I now only use social media to just share photos of my travels, but Inever look at my comments, likes, messages, and I never look at other people’s photos and posts anymore. I just use it for showing off, but not for socializing or engaging anymore, like my social media usage is now just 5 minutes a week

I have started making changes last year. My father passed from colon cancer that had spread to his liver. I am planning to get screened for cancer now that I am turning 45 and I have also focused on my overall health by cutting out sugar. I used to drink Red Bull every morning like it was my coffee. Just cutting my sugar intake has dropped my weight by almost 20 pounds over the past several months. I need to lose another 15 to be at my ideal weight. My career has three new possibilities for me in the coming months that will also help me grow in my career while also making more money to get my debt under control and hopefully within 2 years be eliminated with the obvious caveat of a mortgage.

My biggest hater was apparently my cousin. I had never discovered that he was jealous of me, but not long ago he went so far as to tamper with my things. Finally I confronted him and told him, "We will never be brothers or friends as family, it's over." I explained this to him. but I don't go around thinking about him because to me he is a non-existent person even though he is my cousin.
This is the year I complete the ownership of myself. Shedding the dead weight of my life. No more fixing peoples problems who only think about themselves. I am awesome and amazing. Part of my ownership will be defining and implementing my brand and my identity.

Excellent advice. For me, forgiveness (or lack thereof) of both myself and others is the heaviest burden that I carry in my heart. Forgiveness is a double edged sword, and if wielded incorrectly, you end up hurting both yourself and others. Like you advised, we need to simply forgive unconditionally and not let these people live rent free in our minds. As men, we need to keep the compass pointed towards a brighter future and never look back towards a darker past. Keep up the great videos and I would love to see more videos about how to improve one's self from a mental prospective (eg how to conquer procrastination or how to set healthy boundaries with family members and friends, etc).
