I remember when I fixed Error Code 12 for the first time. I felt like a genius because a lot of people online claimed that it was a game over. All I had to do was delete a bunch of mediocre fishing-related memories that one of my sims had.
@@daevastafford Memories bloat the file size, sims get a ton of memories from fishing, and that one sim had the private aquarium LTW, so she had so many fishing memories that there wasn’t enough RAM to save.
this is why you need a mod that makes it so only important stuff like getting married or someone dying are saved as memories, instead of getting new memories everytime you send your sim to a community lot or everytime they catch a fish
Back when I was really invested in sims 3 and needed an escape from everything (like 6th grade) I think the farthest I've gone with a family was 36 generations (pain in the ass to keep a save file working that long.... but damn that was a fun family)
to have long generation is actually easy. i mean indeed it took you so long. but it's just basically your sims pumping babies. at least 1 baby. the hard one is how to maintain your family's wealth at least the same level as the previous generation. better if you can improve the wealth.
This and you are so amazing. You seriously broke my heart when you stopped making videos about this family, I love seeing what each new generation would get up to. I know I could never keep a save this long because I have far too many mods and custom content. Good job!
I’ve been using the randomizer for traits for a while now cause I realized my gameplay was getting stale. It definitely does help give them more personalities and it makes me love my sims even more
Something that really helps me to stay interested in a family for a longer time is to create stories and narratives. I know that might seem obvious but it really was a game changer for me.
started my first legacy in the sims 4 a week or so ago, being 2 years deep in a save in REAL TIME already sounds insane! I totally agree with randomizing traits/aspirations, my first baby boy wants to be a social butterfly and has the loner trait, so that'll definitely be interesting.
I’m with u I just wrapped up a 18 Gen household not because I got bored of them love them it just time for a new save time for some new faces time for me to yell at my monitor because my sims won’t listen to me
I'm now on my 5th generation and I don't think I've ever gone for this long. I'm gonna go as far as the game lets me, but it's been so fun. So far all of my sims have looked pretty similar to the founder and it's honestly so cool to see those traits go down the family line :') I was stupid and chose Isla Paradiso as my world but to be fair I thought I wasn't gonna go for this long
@@NotMalcolm It is really cool :) also it's cool to have so many items from previous generations. I also def find myself randomizing traits and just overall putting my sims into different careers and doing things I never tried before. I'm usually the type of person to just make my Sim a artist/writer/musician or some type of self employed haha
I feel like my issue with long playthrough is not staying intrested in the sims because sims come and go, but it's staying interested in the town 😭 I just get bored looking at the same stuff all the time
I play legacy challenges on 3 times skip ahahah, started 3 days ago and iam already in 3rd generation, i currently have 8 sims on my household but i keep always at 3 times speed and manage complete all their lifetime wishes
im glad that in my legacy challenge saves i stick to randomizing the traits bc i know that if i didnt they would all end up as family oriented artistic bookworms so they can stay home making easy money by painting/writing while taking care of the kids
I have had the same family in my game since I bought Sims4 in 2014. There are well past 40generations. So much so that my family tree has been disappearing for years. I wasn’t privy to save files until a couple years ago so I cannot go all the way back to the first generation of the family but I still have the very first urn of the father who died in that family. The name of the sim is gone now but his urn remains
do you think of doing a current household check in of this family or even start a new save with one of the kids from this 15 generational household in a new city to see how they will be and maybe that can also help your game as well since it is a "new" save
I've done 100+ weeks more than once but never 15 generations. I just use mods so my sims never die. I get bored when my favorite sims die. I would never have my lovely sims though get constantly cheated on and not know it. Never 💀💀💀💀. I love them too much. Your sims are very beautiful though.
May I ask what your PC is like? Like is it a gaming PC? Is it a gaming laptop? Or is it just a normal PC/laptop? I don't understand much about these but I wanna know how to have so many generation. But my ASUS notebook can't handle the games so well (even with the lowest settings) 😔😔
does anybody know how to upload to the sims 3 exchange in 2023? i have tired to upload my household and house in game to the sims 3 exchange but every time i try, it says processing and then my game closes. any tips? :/

WTF?!? That is so weird!!! FISHING??? 😭✋ This is why the devs suck!

Just disable memories 👍 saves you from a lot of headache
bruh 15 generations, that's insane
😅 it’s wild lookin back at it

I'm now motivated to challenge myself to a 15-generation family
Mad respect for you because I can’t even get past the third generation for some reason, the game always crashes and I have to restart all over again
hey three generations is still good!
My most played is 3 generations too, but not because of crash, but just that I get bored. 15 generations sound A LOT
This and you are so amazing. You seriously broke my heart when you stopped making videos about this family, I love seeing what each new generation would get up to. I know I could never keep a save this long because I have far too many mods and custom content. Good job!

Bruh Kurees save cleaner saved my now 4 gen save, it shaved 2 G off of it. 🙈 I like you, subbed
oh thank u 😊 it’s amazing how clogged up the saves get!
@ferret seriously get it. 👏🏾 Save cleaner + all the nraas mods saved three of my legacy saves and made my game run so much better

that’s really impressive! it’s so cool when u get that far to see what genetics are inherited and just to think about the family’s history 💞

Such a cool series and such iconic Sims. I'm happy you're still playing them behind-the-scenes 😄

i just recently discovered your channel and omg im obsessed i love the editing 😭💗
hey thank you for watching! 😻
Wow I only made it to 5 generation before my save got corrupted 😂
you didnt back it up??
@@centraltime3680 first time player 😭 now I learned my lesson, I always remember to back my game up once a month now since I don't play as often.
happens to the best of us! rip that save 🥲
The Trait system in sims 2 was really good for that, having a limited amount of points, making it so that every sim has qualities and flaws
Amazing! Wow I have much CC :( lol Would love to follow more of your Sim's drama :P
I feel like my issue with long playthrough is not staying intrested in the sims because sims come and go, but it's staying interested in the town 😭 I just get bored looking at the same stuff all the time
Move than, there's even mods that let you keep your family tree and sims from the old town will age

40?! 🤯 that’s incredible!
You need mccc in sims 4, your family tree broke since all your dead sims were culled, thats why tbe father tombstone is empty now
do you think of doing a current household check in of this family or even start a new save with one of the kids from this 15 generational household in a new city to see how they will be and maybe that can also help your game as well since it is a "new" save
that as good idea, i might try it out!
I second this!

Your sims are very beautiful though.
waaaait did you use custom body sliders for the sims? the women sims are SNATCHED! Hello Dr Miami yessss
i’m on gen 8 i wanna make it to 10 before my game explodes lol
I love listening to your voice
The minute my game hits 10 weeks I dip
My game decides to shit itself after like a generation and a half in any save file....I WISH I could play 15 generations :')
Can't even reach gen 2 adulthood and here mans have 15 gens 😭
haha it took me a minute fr
I like your sims philosophy! Random sims are more fun!
so true!
This is so cool!
Hi, What do you use for your family tree now that PlumTree is discontinued?
May I ask what your PC is like? Like is it a gaming PC? Is it a gaming laptop? Or is it just a normal PC/laptop?

Do you have a link to your Sims 3 Mods Folder? I love your clothing CC!!
:D
omgg i love your UI! how did you get it?
ahh it’s Just Miha’s clean UI mod 😊
hi have you already shared your sims age settings? like how many days do you have for young adults, teens etc
i just play with the default age settings! although i thought about shortening the teen life stage it seems so long sometimes 🧐
My save got broken on the second generation
underrated simmer 😊
oh hey i appreciate that 🥰
i tried to do it but i hate when my sims marry her 2nd cousin
My computer dying after a second generation: :O
does anybody know how to upload to the sims 3 exchange in 2023? i have tired to upload my household and house in game to the sims 3 exchange but every time i try, it says processing and then my game closes. any tips? :/
I only made it to 2 or 3 generations lol 15 generations that’s a lot
I made it 9 generations
I have 11 gen and then my save got deleted :'))
do we get a face reveal at 10k subs? 😅
Are you going to play the sims 4?? It's been so long 🤣 I feel like you might be interested in the new pack
ahh i’m thinking about it!
@@NotMalcolm awe that's good! Sims 4 is my favourite one but I know not everyone enjoys it all the time 😅
I can barely do 1
Are you single? I think we're soul mates🥰
I can’t even reach over 5 gen 🧍🏻, your a legend✨
5 is actually a lot !
@@NotMalcolm ik i cant go beyond that uGh i wanna reach 10 but i get bored so much
97 weeks and 15 generations 🫶🏻🫶🏻 love to see other people with similar progress
