Hi i'm Joe, I have created this RUclips channel to show my progression from a skinny teenager who is sick of being skinny to hopefully in the future being more muscular and just better in general both physically and mentally.
If you do enjoy my content it would mean lot if you could hit the like button and maybe even consider subscribing. Thank you!

So fucking weird how the universe works. You’re the dude who got me into the gym and since 2 years ago I’ve built a respectable physique that I’m proud of. 4 months ago I dislocated my shoulder and it’s been some of the hardest times on mentally being out of the gym. I literally TODAY just got the green light to start working out again. Life is crazy
I’ve been injured for 10 months and only recently got back to the gym as well. It sucks hearing people tell me “what happened you look so skinny”
how did you dislocate your shoulder?
how did you get hurt?
@@-N-A- it’s fucked with my anxiety so much. I don’t leave the house unless I’m all covered up in baggy clothes. Hope you get well soon bro
I have been sick 2 times in last two months, got lazy af, and bit depressed cause of some personal shit, lost muscles and man, the fucking weather and being dark so soon, hits me every year.
But I have been getting back into it for the past week, and I have been shocked when this dude tells me he lost his gains as I did, and he is also getting back to it:D
By no means are you skinny again man. Sure, you may feel like it, but I agree with everyone that already said it, muscle memory is a lifesaver. You will gain it back at twice the speed it took you the first time.
Don’t be discouraged, it’s just a learning experience. Don’t do it again, but realize that this is teaching you dedication,. motivation, and humility.
Try five times the speed
@@kjack157 exactly, twice is an understatement
10x
strength still can take a bit to gain back which is annoying
He still got a model body ngl
Don’t worry about the “gains” loss joe, whatever you’re going through life itself is a workout, and you’re growing, I can see visually in this video you have changed. Keep going Gods got his plan.
Damn well said
Amen
This guy have clear mental dillema inside his brain and those insecurity issues need to be worked in proper psychologist and shrink. This being constant favoritism of being jacked is just a defense mechanism. Like already pre cracked glasswall build around his sensitive and fragile psyche which will shatter even by the slightest impact. Thus he will curl up only deeper and deeper into safe refuge created by depression and degeneration. It's so sad.
What does it mean to lose my gains?
Joe is always keeping it real with us, that makes it so worthy to watch his videos
Keep your head up Joe, we know you’ll pull through 💪
And push
PULL
Break a leg they say
Muscle memory will hit and he's back
This guy has millions of subscribers and has a better physique than 90 percent of dudes, he'll be alright he's just soft and too spoiled to realize how good he has it 😂😂😂
This is why you're the only fitness youtuber I watch. Not only relatable but honest. Not showing us this fake reality/dream as other influencers do, but showing what it actually takes to get where you want. Great content value s always bro
honest? you think he's honest? he came off a cycle recently thats how he lost so much muscle, just look at him a little over 2 months ago. you don't lose that much in that space of time
@@ben-dn4sv You need to go specsavers bro 🧐 Joe is as natty as it gets. If you actually have been watching the progress then you would realise he has been training for literal years on end to get to that point. If he was on any sort of Steroids it would have took him less than a year. His body has lost muscle mass same as anyone would if they haven’t been to the gym for months lol✌️***** he was deffo natty a few years back, but you’re right my dude I’ll hold my tounge and own up to it, he was deffo on roids towards the end of his journey 100% no doubt about it you can see it clearly 🫡
@@ben-dn4sv Joe makes it so obvious
@@ben-dn4sv Yeah I agree with this. People forget sauce is a spectrum. You can cycle 150mg cruise, 300-400mg 'blast' and just sit in that beautiful spot where you look awesome, but far away from what peoples perceptions of someone on cycle should look like. He's probably come off, PCTed, got bloods, got the all good and is preparing to jump back in.
@@atafx8970 he has no idea how to actually train or eat, he's been on a ''bulk'' for like 4 years yet he's always got abs. He very clearly blew up in size a while back and that's when people got suspicious. Wouldn't be surprised he did cycle some sarms or something like that. You can't randomly out of nowhere just gain tons of muscle especially after years of training.
I love this, because it’s not a video about you giving up or making excuses to why you lost your gains,no it’s a video about you doing a comeback and getting the gains back. Love the content❤
I can't lie I had to come back for your latest video to post this comment which "hopefully" gets to you and I just wanted to say that:
1. I appreciate the time you spend making these type of videos
2. The effort you put in your videos
3. How creative and understanding you are with editing, your diet, etc.., just focused on learning more stuff and that
4. Which just grabs my attention on how good you work/use your brain
5. Keep up your good work mate 👍🏾
Much love from Egypt ❤
Looking great Joe, it’s difficult when you carry that deep-rooted insecurity, but it’s still self discipline regardless if you’re training hard or simply noticing when you’re lacking & giving yourself a hard time. That’s fuel for improvement. Keep pushing yourself 😤
Listen mate, as a person who goes to the gym for quite a bit of time, I'll tell you with all due honesty your workouts will kill you, they have too many exercises and it will leave you feeling sore and extremely tired. Sending you love and support and I hope you take this advice 😁
Na seriously. Unless he's on something to boost his recovery this shit would give any natural person DOMS for days after every workout. The volume is just way too much especially considering he's coming back after being inconsistent for weeks.
Lunatics, stop advising people of your once a week workouts with three exercises one set each, that shit doesn't work, just stop.
Mate he do this for content, nothing else. Out of video ideas? Recreate your progress. These youtube influencers will do litteraly anything to keep making videos, its so much money involved (And its their job ofc). Here is also when you might start popping some PEDs and say you are a natural as a classic youtube "natural" influencer..
Was about to say the same, the program itself looks great, well planned and all but they have 1 or 2 too many exercises and the rep range is too high on some of them.
Joe isn't new to the gym tho so he probably knows whats best for him specifically.

Absolute goat, always keeping it real. I have fallen off the gym as well lately, but not making excuses up either. Picking it up again just like you! Thanks for always also showing the negatives but somehow turn it into something positive as you have been a motivation to keep grinding.
It’s so insane that this exactly matches how I’ve been doing both by months and weeks out the gym. Almost scary. And I just got that fire back as well and got back to it before even watching this vid. It’s honestly insane. Guess we’re doing this comeback together brother
Me too, good luck bro 💪🏼
glad to see im not the only one feeling like this sometimes after being sick or taking time of gym
Damn the timing of this video could not have been better. I stopped going to the gym for the last 2 months for personal reasons, and I've felt like shit because I've noticed that I'm losing muscle. I just decided today that I had to start going again, this really gave me the final push and motivation I needed. Thanks man!
Same, lets all do this together bros
bro same
Same wtf? I stopped for 2 months due to my mental health really degrading. I've been training for 2 years and know I look like a skeleton. That makes me sad and makes me lose motivation tbh.. Although I have a hard time building muscle idk why. I sleep and eat enough, train enough but I'm not getting there
Same brother. Its been 4 months due to work and uni
@@aryangurung3401same for me
Man you've come a long way, i remember starting to watch you 2 years ago when i was starting to go through my biggest peak in my lifting career. I had to pivot my focus too, im in the military now so I'm trying to find a balance between having stamina and having gym gains. Which is freaking HARD, military doesnt want big fellas just quick and strong. That being said, this motivated me to find a happy medium where i can be a hybrid athlete, being fast and strong. Keep going bro
One, if not the best, fitness influencer, you’re so real
I think many of us needed this video, thank you for everything you do and have done for us skinny guys Joe. I’ve gone from crazy school workload to being sick and then rinse and repeat for the past 6 weeks and this past week I’m finally back in the gym at full speed. I too have regained my fire and drive, both of which were ignited by you and your bulking guides. It’s because of you that I gained 17 pounds in my first 3 months of lifting and why I’m still lifting 3 years later. Keep your fire going, we support you all the way Joe!
Love the honesty bro. This is really motivating! Can’t wait to see you find those gains, plus some new ones!
keep going brother, wish you nothing but success, your videos are always a highlight of my day. COME BACK STRONGER!!
Fucking love this Joe, u got me into the gym as a skinny kid almost 3 years ago, u got this man. Keep grinding 💪
I like how losing your gains didn't put you down it rather motivated you , I'm sure you will be back soon
Hope you come back even stronger, keep it up for sure.
Just want to give props from putting together an incredible video. I was hooked from the beginning to the end
Thanks for always motivating us Joe!
ive started working out in february 2022 and been going to the gym for almost a year, and stopped going to the gym for around 7 months and i recently got back to the gym, ive almost got back all my strength and muscle and i feel much better, keep up the work joe, youve been a great motivation not only for me, but for the whole community that youve built, we love you man
It takes a lot of strength and braveness to admit losing your physique as a fitness influencer! Mad respect man. Can't wait to see your upcoming transformation

You got this man, ups and downs like this are bound to happen. I’ve fallen off too, i’ma take this as a challenge to fix that.
Proud of you brother! I think you’ll be surprised with how fast you get back to where you want to be. whatever tough times you’re going through, just realize this is only a season of time and things will get better! We all have those rough times, so you’re not alone. I’ll add you to my prayers. God bless and keep grinding! Cheers!
Just like we have been here before we'll be here now you got this joe
Thanks for keeping it real Joe. You’re the only one that gives me some real motivation fam❤
I appreciate your honesty. I have been falling off for a little bit lately so this was a helpful reminder.
Plsss make your videos longer we love watching your workout, your stuff is so inspiring.
I have also been out of the gym for about 6 months due to being busy and felt exactly the same as you. Now back at the gym for 2.5 months again and starting to get in better shape than I've ever been on! It doesn't matter how many times you fail as long as you come back harder !!!!
The comeback will be much much greater than the setback. You got this Joe. I was also in a similar position a few months ago and yeah, the upcoming months you about to become the Beast. Keep your head up champ. After all you got all of us in this together with you.
Good luck Joe,we believe in you!!!
Your filming and editing is so so sick, the supermarket scene is insane. Great video :D
I feel the exact same way man, been dealing with numerous injuries lately, and been forced to stop training to heal properly. I think I could probably get back to it tho, and this video just gave me the motivation I need. Cheers mate!
Get well soon buddy.❤
1. AMAZING FILMING. Nice angles. Good job.
2. So motivating to workout, thanks Joe's.

LFG JOEEE!!!!!! Time to get in shape for summer!
Haven't watch Joe for a while, this is pure content super entertaining man i fr need to do a comeback as well lost bunch of muscles
I had the exact same experience. I was at my best point five months ago, due to health complications I’ve missed the gym for four months, I lost almost all of my gains. But now it is like I’m getting the same drive I had when I was skinny to start the gym.
Might be because you get the same results as you did back then, rebound is even more powerful than noobie gains
Most beta male shit i ever heard 😂
I’m the same, I trained for 1 year but around august of this year I slowly stopped because of school stress and job. I had no drive to go back. I started back 3 weeks ago and it truly reminded me how much I love the gym.
Let’s go mate. I relate to this. I had a knee surgery and then got sick so I was out of the gym for a month or so. (I could barely walk). Finally I’m back and I see my lifts finally progressing. Much love and thanks for always being really with your followers.
man i fcuking love this video
i know you since day 1 and imma just say i love your journey keep going you are gonna put that muscle on way faster than you might think proud of you!!
Bro you were the one who got me into the gym and start bulking. im very thankful for that. after 1 full year i went from 120 to 140, I know its not a lot but you still encourage me to continue on with the journey.
U legit my role model, do what u do best
First video I've seen of yours and I'm an instant fan. Best of luck with the comeback! Also, a big fan of the digestable less than 6 minute video and Macklemore track
wow this is really the part of the gym journey they never tell you about. I fell off This summer after a solid 12 months in the gym and i’m slowly getting back in but felt so shit and guilty thinking how did i let it happen. but after seeing this video and a few comments i understand it’s normal now 💪🏽
That's why i workout for 9 years or so. But if someone would be seriously working out 5 days a week they could probably get the same results in 3 or 4 years. Because if everytime you stop, it drops insanely fast and you have to make up for it after. It does go a bit quicker up again once you have been doing a certain weight but it still takes a lot of time to get back to old levels everytime you stop more then 2 months. But it's part of the journey. As soon as it feels like you have to force yourself to go to the gym everytime, it's just done for a while
For some reason, i can just feel that joe's form is gonna be even better than 6 months ago. Youve got our support Joe.
Finally joe you’re on that 6 day bodybuilder plan. I always thought you should go on it. The gains will be insane for you for sure. Also the fact that the video is about you losing your gains, you’re still smiling which is amazing. Just shows that you’re excited for the process and getting back on top. You got this bro👊
Good energy, well done for getting back into it.
As a skinny guy myself who’s now 38 it’s honestly so hard to keep the gains we make. If I slack off just a little bit with my eating or lifting they disappear. I lifted like a meathead in my military days and actually put some decent size on but now in my late 30s I don’t lift crazy like that anymore more to just maintain and stay fit and I stay 6’ 180 lbs no matter what.. if I slack I can drop to 175 then get back on track and stay at 180 or 185 max. It’s not easy and gear isn’t the answer I’d rather be healthy and not fighting that urge the rest of my life. Keep your head up and working hard us skinny folks aren’t supposed to be built like Dorian yates unfortunately lol.
39. Felt this right here.
I feel you man. I spent the last year in the gym. Made some pretty good gains. I got sick last month and was in bed for about 3 weeks and couldn’t really eat sleep and definitely haven’t been going to the gym. Needless to say I lost almost all of my gains. It’s tough man
This is really weird. Most people can maintain the gains they made even if they are doing way less lifting. Are you also noticing that you have a less muscular look or is it only the weight difference. When you go from 175 to 185 at least 90% of that is not muscle. That's just not how it works. I weigh myself every day and often have 4 pound differences from day to day. I'm not losing or gaining any muscle in 24 hours. It's just more or less water and glycogen in the body.
It's really not, it's 10x harder to build muscle than to maintain it, you can work out 3x a week and keep the same physique. He lost all his gains because he came off a cycle and didn't PCT properly and most likely it got to him mentally so he stopped going to the gym which is common after a cycle.
@@steviejrr Yeah, there really isn't any denying it. You don't just go from 265 lbs of muscle to 145 in a few months. Lol
The past month has been really hard after my girlfriend broke up with me but it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who’s struggling and ready to getting back on track. We’re all in this together boys!
Use those feelings of sadness and anger and translate those to the gym brother. Use those emotions to do better. All the best my g
Same happened to me over 6 months ago but managed to get myself in the best shape of my life. Keep pushing brother.
Avoid those poons. They will drag you down with them.
Like the other guy said, use the sadness and anger as motivation for gym and begin your villain arc
Much love bro, keep it up
So fitting how many of these videos are coming out. A lot to digest. Everyone is going to go through this at some point. But you have to realise that it’s a phase & whatever you’re going through you will come out of it. I think perceptions have become extremely skewed on what’s accepted & what’s not. There’s no reason to look jacked all the time, it’s ok just to enjoy life also & work on becoming a better version of yourself mentally. I recently went through something similar & I had very dark thoughts about how to get big again or if I could even accept myself anymore, but bodybuilding is not the be all end all of your life. Dig deep down & find it within yourself to keep the motivation up & become a better version of yourself.
I hope if you’re going through something similar that you’re doing ok & it always ok to reach out for help, hell ill even listen, the head can be a very dark & lonely place sometimes.
So much love from Germany

LFG! Just the motivation I needed to get myself back into the gym. Starting with legs tonight! Going to copy your workout plan and see how it goes... goodluck yourself!!
Good video! I really liked the editing.
Here a tip, I think training 6 days a week doing 8 exersices to failure is a bit too much for bodybuilding. It may be better to remove one of the training days and preform a upper body instead of the push and pull. Maybe also making the workout smaller cuz training 3 chest exercises and then doing shoulders would probably make you overtrain and you wouldnt get much from most of the sets.
But do what you think best and keep going mate!
I split my shoulder exercices through 3 sessions. Lateral raises with legs, shoulder press with chest/triceps (cause shoulder press makes your triceps work) and the rear portion in my back/bicep day.
Good to see you taking accountability. I've been sick for the past 3 days, and I'm already itching to get back into the gym again!

If nobody is going to say it, I will! This regression in Joes physique is not from slacking off in the gym or not hitting enough sessions. You only require one third of the volume, you needed to build the muscle, to keep it. Someone as obsessed with his appearance as Joe, would never neglect his training that much for such a long period. I wasnt buying it at the time, but a few months ago, when Joe admitedly looked and performed his best, people were saying he joined the dark side and started taking PEDs. This huge regression is so suspicious and out-of-character for Joe, I, at this point, see no other explanation then he took PEDs, went off, lost his gains due to supression and now either is back on or his hormones are recovered enough to make some progress again.
@@the_psychic_ward would you not like him anymore, if you found out he wasnt?
i think he was just not pumped + bad lighting and a little bit of muscle loss at best
he was already looking bigger during his first session(pump of course)
@@prateekdawalia9665 his strength also decreased tho, look at his squat
From "We bulkin" 3 months ago to losing all your gains? Sounds weird to me lol, maybe the gear was getting too weird too quick and this is the result
You're amazing Joe!
Please give us loads of content from this journey
It's been a year since I joined the gym, I train consistently but the injuries keep stagnating my progress. Even though I am 15 kg heavier than when I started ( from underweight 60kg at 183cm tall to 77kg) but for some reason I feel skinnier than when I was 60kg😢
Body dysmorphia, try taking pictures of your progression for your own sake.
Im no hater but I honestly think you lost your gains because you were on small cycle and now it sucks also your new program is so much volume i would advise you research mike metzer i will just tell you in 3 months i did what i couldnt 7 months before that while bulking and only training 45min 4 times a week, also 9hours of sleep is must
That's not huge volume. e.g. 18 sets chest a week is recommended (if he's doing push A&B once a week). Push A I could do in 45-50mins easy. Push B you could prob remove either cable or dumbell raise as they are essentially the same movement. Otherwise that's a tried and tested solid workout split.
Again you tailor your workout to your body type / weight response. We're all different. He's 6'4" remember so he needs a bit more volume than someone who's 5'5.
@@TheSuperdodgy why does he need more volume just because he is 6'4? he doesnt, height doesn matter! volume doesnt build muscle high intensity does, look at Mike Mentzer its actually true im doing 1 set of everything with rest pause set, negative sets, holds and supersets and gain 5kg in 3 month and im still rly lean
Great content bro, the comeback is always better than the setback. You're still young, I hope whatever it is you've had going on you're able to get the support & help to deal with it. All the best mate.
Well it literally takes no effort to get them back, if he constantly hits gym 3 months in a row he is back 100%
Love it bro
I really like your content joe. I am just saying that I hope it's not that kind of new start like oh I added 20 pounds of muscle just last week and I think it's because of my new plan but in reality your just jucing. The main reason I like your content is probably because it seems like you keep it real. Please keep on doing that. That comment is not supposed to sound negative. I am just saying that i am a little suspicious when an fitness influencer who thought about jucing makes a video like that. Hope you understand my perspective. Thanks.
Yeah I’m really worried this is a part one of sorta explaining away some really sus gains to come… I’m hoping not but it doesn’t look great considering what he’s said about PED’s and how ubiquitous it is in bodybuilding circles in the UK
Body dysmorphia is what it's called.

@@TestAccountYT-l u must just be new to the gym. ur shoulders grew instantly because u had a pump. working out your shoulders meant blood rushed to ur shoulders making them bigger, then they get smaller.
training doesnt really differ between each person much only a little. Biggest factor is genetics for deciding maximum potential. Joes physique is definitely acheivable naturally for anyone with mid-good genes.
