Thank you Bharati for your comment. Well the origins of Empirical approach is mentioned in this tutorial. There is no specific date or day when it started but overall it started in early 20th century and by 1940s this approach became famous to study politics.
There are many preconceived ideas in political science to study the nature and behaviour of the state . These ideas could be explain and evaluate under the broad perspectives like normative approach, empirical, philosophical, historical, institutional, Marxist and etc.
Can u plse include or mention the practical or easy example of normative or empirical approach that (how normative is based on ethics and value comparing to empirical it's value free, scientific, logic realistic, It would be better if you give comparison example. )
