    Pleasantly surprised to see my own knife at 1:39:41 (the art-knife based on the fight against gravity throughout the ages) - Ambition's Edge. Thank you for having a look! :)

      Hello! What is the equation you have sketched into the blade? What a beautiful piece by the way!0

    • @knivsmeden
      @knivsmeden 2 месяца назад +3

      @@ocjok3r Thank you! :) There are two equations. On the viking-ship side there is Archimedes principle of buoyancy used to calculate whether something will float or not, and on the Starship side there is an equation for calculating escape velocity. I have motified the latter equation with a bit of an artistic twist at the very beginning of the formula though. The two mathematical principles are far apart in terms of time, but they still deal with the same challenge. As they say, "gravity sucks". ;)

      @@knivsmeden What an incredibly small world!! In high school we were all assigned a random scientific principle or concept for our end of year chemistry project. Thank you for 1000 times- you made one of my dream comes truth (I've never been on the blade show, but I alawys wanted)! As all "video guys", you are always in the "shadow", however this time, my comment and my gratitude is dedicated for you (and you only!).. Maybe next year I will have a chance to shake your hand!     Kyle, I’m sitting here watching the knife show episode and thought of a build for you;
    Why not save one block off your next 8-10 pattern Damascus projects and combine them into sort of a greatest hits blade…? I think it would be an amazing display of all your patterns in one blade, and it would also give you memories from each build.

This really shows the size of the show. Thank you. I personally would like to see a cut without the background music. But good job thank you for showing all of this the way you did.

Not receiving any video notification and no upload made me a little worried, was scared that something terrible happened and you starting from scratch. time 1:50 in this video was a happy moment for me, looks like the sword is complete now, I believe you were preparing for this event. Good to see the sword and will be waiting for your graphene sword completion video. Happy forging.

In the booth area, you zoomed through so fast that the camera didn't even have time to focus or stabilize on what was in front of it..

    I think what's wild to me is that you'll see a blade that has a ton of work put in into it. Handmade Damascus steel etc. Exotic handle material, and it'll be around $3000. Then you'll see some boring titanium handled tactical folder with no Damascus blade for the same price lol. And people will snap them up as quick as something that took 10 times longer to make.

The one thing that stands out for me alot is the fact that there are some people making "EYE CANDY" impractical knives.. It pretty much depressing to see so few making knives like a knife is supposed to be.. Durability, usability, practical, and nice to see.. Let's go back to the roots of awesome USA MADE cutlery, and start over... Dungeon and dragons was a game, not REAL... COME ON PEOPLE... 😂

Not scared to sharpen it, scratch it, or just use it for cutting something... Ilmfao... It's unbelievable how much some of these knives are priced, just to bring them home and hang them on a wall... Art??? Maybe... Knives??? Hardly...
