I've really come to appreciate the opportunity that watches and wonders presents, thanks to your videos. I'm amazed at how much of an experience each brand is able to curate. I feel like you really get a sense for these companies based on how they present themselves. All this to say I'm really impressed by the way Zenith has chosen to display. They seem very accessible and fun, while also taking what they do very seriously and with no lack of passion. The vibe of this video has me considering this brand when I'd never really given them much thought before today.
I have been visiting the W&W event in the past 2 years and Zenith has one of the best booths in the event! Not only for the free spritzs, the photo and the little laboratory 😉 Their watches are amazing and a joy to try on at the event! While in other booths they offer nothing and you can't even try the watch! Fantastic history, timeless design, great watches!
Yeah he's cutting him off. Best to let him finish his thoughts. Many Europeans take their time when talking and will even pause for a second before continuing with the second or third part of their thought. But the interviewer is definitely eager to give his point of view and thoughts and cut the guy off. Also English is not Benoits first language so you can't expect him to fire off nonstop like an Aussie or Brit or an American. So best for the interviewer to not be so eager, just let the people talk all day and then you can edit in your own thoughts. It might be better just to ask question. then afterwards you can do a comments by yourself to the camera giving feedback on what you the CEO said. The CEO or CFS or whoever this guy is, his time is limited so best to let him speak as much as he can in this limited seating, then we can hear you talk for 30 minutes afterwards.
I just discovered this brand (i am a omega fan boy) and i have to admit that they made such beautiful time pieces ! My next Watch Will be a Zenith for sure.
I think Zenith has been killing it with case design in recent years. I know the Pilot was divisive, but I love its sculptural yet low profile shape. Casual and classy. I already have a subtle 40mm x 11.5mm Zenith Chronograph, and I don't need everything to be that. Just don't know if I'd want a Skyline or a Pilot first. Probably Skyline.
The blue chrono is probably the best watch I've seen in 2024!! The coloured dive watch it's simply ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️!! But again, as for anything else in those past two years, prices are too high. I guess ain't much that we can do to reverse this crazy race
The defy revival in neon orange is actually lit! I really dig it and actually want it! At chf 7400 i think its a very fair price for what zenith is offering with their in house Elite movement and the quality of their watches. 37mm - sweet spot! I think its the highlight of their release this year 🎉
The Divers and the Chronos are interesting releases, no doubt. But the fair leaves one important question: where are our white ceramic Skeleton Skylines? Andrew we need you now! More than ever 🙏🏻
Andrew, great video! Really enjoyed it. Which diver's your favorite between the blue-bezel variant with the crown in the classic 3 o''clock position and the red/orange-bezel Revival variant with the crown in the 4/5 o'clock position, and why?
Cool! But... First, the chrono on such a tiny wrist of Ceo isn't that "appealing". It doesn't look good. Second, on the 2 diver it seems the second hans is moving slowly, it's like taking about 7 or 8 seconds for move 5 seconds forward on the dial. Maybe I am wrong 🤷🏻
Im so sorry for Zenith, is such a great brands on the heart of the lovers. But years after years we are see their sales going down. They went to up with price and they burned a good brand. If they keep themselves between Tudor and Omega, they will be a bestseller. Most of watches lover can’t/won’t pay 10.000$ for a chrono.
Every luxury brand is seeing a decline in said at the moment, we're in a global recession. In terms of increasing prices, everyone's been doing that because of inflation. Chronomasters are in the same price bracket as speedmasters, and every Zenith is more technologically impressive and better finished than a Tudor, so why would they price themselves like Tudors? Sounds like you're just salty because you can't afford a Zenith. The only thing you're correct about is that most people won't pay 5 figures for a watch, and that's because most people can't afford to. Most people aren't the target audience for these brands so that doesn't matter.
@@howardjackson8095 so why they should price themselves 3/4k over the moonwatch? Is not a question of been salty, if someone can afford 4k for a Tudor, can afford (waiting a bit more worst case scenario) to spend the double. Tudor is know, by people that are not in watches and buy watch to have a statement piece. Is not true that everyone is down, Rolex, Tudor and Omega increased the sales in the last year. My point is that Zenith is not like Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Tag Heuer, all brands that are known to the east majority of people from TV, sports events, and therefore perceived as luxury. Zenith is a technical brands for very few, and the last 2/3 years were very bad for them as company.
@stefanotattifrongia3612 Okay correction on my part, the luxury market (not just watches) as a whole had been doing poorly for a couple of years now with a few well-known out. All of the brands mentioned (Tudor, Rolex, Omega, and with the exception of TAG Heuer) are status brands like you say. They could all charge less if they wanted. I mean, what do you actually get when you buy a Rolex or a Tudor? You get a bland watch with underwhelming finishing and minimal complications with a bland in-house movement. Omega at least decorates their movements to a higher quality. TAG, it depends. Probably about 80-90 of what they sell is either quartz F1s, aquarqacers, and smart watches, which, if I bag to guess, cost about £25 to make. On the other end, you've got flyback chronographs and tourbillonsbeing sold at (according to a boutique manager with whom I have a relationship) practically cost price plus a few per cent margin. TAG needs to sell low quality, high margin stuff to fund if high complications. The other brands your just buying marketing. Zenith, on the other hand, couldn't charge much less with the amount of handwork on low production numbers. Probably any 80% of what you spend on a Zenith is the watche. With the other brands (excluding high-end TAG Heuer). Is mostly hype.
I agree with you entirely. If they could settle into that price bracket it would attract many buyers. The more quality offerings from entry level luxury brands like longines hurt zenith also.they HAVE to get more competitive with their marketing and prices.
Nice pieces but the chrono models with the star motif look like AP Royal Oak wanna be’ s . I am sure they are great quality and they look nice but it s kind of the same issue with the models they released that looks like the Rolex Daytona ?Were those a big hit ? Not sure . With these unfortunately they are too thick at 15.5 mm and the retro one is too small at 37 mm . Lastly I also personally think they are too expensive at €11,800 and €8000 . Maybe pre owned at a substantial, discount but not new , too expensive . In that price range there are better options . Price aside I personally would not buy them due to the thickness and due to the fact that they don’t have an “ on the fly “ adjustable clasp . I do like the interchangeable strap system .
Zenith = GOAT FIRST integrated sports bracelet watch which inspired a whole generation of watches which saved the watch industry. Movements which saved the Daytona. FIRST automatic chrono. GOAT. KABLAMO.
It’s a fair point from the outside but when your original model comes out in ‘69 as a very similar design to the RO but three years earlier you arguably earn the right - give and take both ways
Sorry Montblanc but they joined the band wagon of the usual diver. However, Zenith has shocked the hell out of me with their dive watches, they are remarkable. What is wrong with this generation being scared of colorful watches, if they wore them in the 70's, we will continue the tradition of doing so. It is a casual watch, if you can wear a casio or a casio G Shock, why can't you wear a very well created and thought out piece of engineering. Thank Zenith for making 2023 and 2024 a joy with your new models.
I was very interested to hear what the CEO would have to say, but unfortunately you are so in love with your own voice you didn’t give him a chance to expand on a single thought. You even asked him where he was planning on taking Zenith in the future (as part of a 3-part question) and then didn’t even let him answer.
Zenith continues to make some truly ugly watches. Their design philosophy is just so awkward with a lot of busy elements & harsh angles. Quality brand that just can’t seem to reach a clean line of timepieces. These new offerings are plain horrid.
CEO: "it's very ea~~~ Interview: "SUPER EASY TO DO" let this guy talk. He is European, he will speak slowly let him finish his sentences his thoughts etc. You can give all your points afterwards after the interview is over. Like "The CEO mentioned etc etc and I agree its super easy to do its great etc etc" and you can talk all day after that. But your time with him is limited, and his own time is super limited as the CEO so best to just fill the video with him talking and you listening then do a big recap of your own thoughts later.
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on nkuwan

I feel sorry for Benoit. He couldn't even get a word in.... not the best way to interview someone
Yeah he's cutting him off. Best to let him finish his thoughts. Thank you for your coverage. It is much appreciated.
I just discovered this brand (i am a omega fan boy) and i have to admit that they made such beautiful time pieces ! My next Watch Will be a Zenith for sure.
Zenith watches looks like they’re designed for someone in their 20-30s but is priced for someone in their 50s and 60s
I think Zenith has been killing it with case design in recent years. I know the Pilot was divisive, but I love its sculptural yet low profile shape. Casual and classy.

Andrew, thx for sharing! Great Diver from Zenith! I like it❤
The Defy Skyline Chronograph looks absolutely stunning 😮
Congrats to Zenith 👍
Time and tide never fails, one of the best coverages of watches and wonders ! 🔥🙌🏻
So kind! Our commenters are the best 👊🏼
What a gorgeous diver! Didn't know Zenith has a diver history! Great content, thank you guys!!!
I must say very tempted by all three divers 😂
You should let others talk Andrew.
The man could not finish a sentence without Andrew speaking over him!
a great brand , their revival series i really like the diver with the orange dial has a farve liebe / doxa vibe , they all had a great 60s style
The DEFY diver has a Doxa Sub 600 vibe to it but much more refined 😊❤😊
Love the new diver. Good video…lots of energy. Would have been good to hear a bit more from Benoit!
those defy extreme straps need a version for the defy skyline
to die for!
The blue chrono is probably the best watch I've seen in 2024!! The coloured dive watch it's simply ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️!!
But again, as for anything else in those past two years, prices are too high. I guess ain't much that we can do to reverse this crazy race
The new CEO, Ben, looks like a really nice, friendly person. Hopefully, the brand excels under his leadership.
Zenith is a realy great brand, always loved it. Realy proud of owning an El Primero chronomaster for a few years now ❤
I put a deposit down for the defy diver revival. Im very excited.
Love the orange defy.
Zenith is truly special
The defy revival in neon orange is actually lit! I really dig it and actually want it! At chf 7400 i think its a very fair price for what zenith is offering with their in house Elite movement and the quality of their watches. 37mm - sweet spot! I think its the highlight of their release this year 🎉
I love the orange on that Defy Revival A3648, such a cool vintage vibe
I agree with the other comments. Yes this is a trade show but you come at it as an enthusiast and with a huge depth of knowledge.
The Divers and the Chronos are interesting releases, no doubt.
But the fair leaves one important question: where are our white ceramic Skeleton Skylines?
Andrew we need you now! More than ever 🙏🏻
🦸🏼 😝
The reissue defy diver is a masterpiece, I’m saving money already
Really beautiful watches and well worth the price as the quality is beyond Rolex and style is as good if not better than omega
Those are some stunning dive watches, plus the good vibes
Andrew, great video! Really enjoyed it. Which diver's your favorite between the blue-bezel variant with the crown in the classic 3 o''clock position and the red/orange-bezel Revival variant with the crown in the 4/5 o'clock position, and why?
Revival all day! That orange is just popping and the retro 60s vibes fit in with my doxa love 🧡
@@Timeandtidewatches Thanks, Andrew! I appreciate it, and agree with your assessment. Cheers.
those divers are gorgeous
Very nice .. a breath of fresh air for sure
why 69.. when I found on the internet a scan of a Zenith advertisement for their Diver from 1968??? 🤔
The orange diver totally goes with a blue suit
600 M = 1968.6 feet. Very close.
😛
I love Zenith and Grand Seiko, they just need to improve their brackets..
Cool!
❤❤❤
For a second I thought Ben was wearing an AP
It's a good thing your observation skills aren't as weak as you thought they were.
Love Zenith beautiful 👌🏻
The fact that Zenith has Aaron Rodgers as an ambassador completely put me off the brand.

the 1st one my wife has nicknamed the captain America .a great brand who always bring out stunning peices , their rival watches are fantastic
Zenit nice nice❤❤❤❤❤
The CEO is a man of taste the pilot grande date is exquisite

After catching up on the W&W videos, its still a tie on whether Andrew or Wei Koh has had the most cocaine
I don’t think 41mm is too large. Looks like a great watch. I just don’t want to spend over 10 grand for a watch anymore.
Sorry Montblanc but they joined the band wagon of the usual diver. However, Zenith has shocked the hell out of me with their dive watches, they are remarkable. Looks like RO offshore
Does the presenter have to interrupt every sentence of the guest...
