- Sky News host Rita Panahi says the “leftist of left leaners” Justin Trudeau has finally admitted that Canada has an immigration problem.
The Prime Minister of Canada said during a speech that the number of temporary migrants has grown at a rate far beyond what the country has been “able to absorb”.
“He has even admitted a truth that Anthony Albanese cannot bring himself to admit,” Ms Panahi said.
“He also explained that the huge numbers of migrants coming in are putting pressure on communities, particularly in terms of housing.
“It’s stating the obvious, and yet, we don’t seem to acknowledge these inconvenient facts here in Australia.”

That’s not true, we came here in 2015 we had visa for one year only after our daughter was born we were trying to extend visa the answer was bye bye , then we left there is point system its not that easy one thing is just temporary visa for year or two but for permanent is so difficult and expensive we paid approximately 15 k for all fees and bullshits , yku need to do exams proof even your great great grandma teeth, my brother in law lives in bc has skilled position job English exam is perfect after years temporary visas he received letter from lawyer he is not qualified for permanent residency not enough points, wasted years here in this joke

Canada is only a 1 or two years ahead of Australia in terms of decline of living standards due to mass migration. Indian migration has destroyed that country. Trudeau here is flat out lying that he cares about the problems immigration that he allowed has caused. He is one of the main proponents of the Century Initiative, Canadas version of the big Australia policy which hopes to see 100 million people in Canada by 2100. At their current rate of migration they will hit that number by the 2040's. Canada is basically doomed and Trudeau is 100% responsible. His legacy will be one of the destruction of Cananda.

And contrary to what the government has been insisting on for years, that more immigrants will make our economy stronger, Canada's GDP per-capita has been contracting steadily for the past few quarters. It doesnt look like all these newcomers are delivering on the promised increased productivity we were all supposed to benefit from. Quite the opposite, the large influx seems to be adding nothing in terms of productivity and simultaneously driving down wages for Canadians, due to labour oversupply. For some perspective, in 2023, we got a combined 1.2M new immigrants, a completely insane nr. Especially when I think back to a couple of decades ago where we were sitting at around 250k each year!
Once all of India has moved to Canada, maybe Canadians can move there? We'd, of course, have to upgrade the sewage system first.
If this guy would just go live in whatever country he descended from he wouldn't have to worry about that!

We have always been a small population on a massive landmass. It's part of our cultural identity. Then Trudeau and his ilk come along and decide to irrevocably change the face of this nation for a bunch of nonsensical reasons that are easily disproved. Nobody asked for this. Nobody was consulted. There was no vote. Canadians had no say - at all - in the fact that their country was going to change so dramatically.
Trudeau is going to lose the election because of his policies, but sadly, the Conservatives replacing him will do no better when it comes to *this* particular issue.
Conservatives are not saying much about this subject as they don't want to be subjected to the usual insults for being rational. They will have to cut down on all areas of imigration for a number of years until housing, healthcare and the economy can catch up. There has to be some merit based system put back in place to allow people to enter the country.

You can't bring in people who's religions flow contrary to Canadian values. It's the very very rare human who's content to be surrounded by alien religions. even my country is doing this mistake , you could have made around 1.4 k euro as a food delivery guy now because a of indians came here a lot of the people that worked those jobs quit and moved abroad again , and this indians make about 700 euros but they pleased because they have housing and food given so they sent all the money back wich is like 3 salaries there probably , this sort of imigration is not sustainable
I’ve noticed that here in Ontario Canada, every delivery person is foreign. Largely uneducated immigrants wash up on our shores, and do jobs that uneducated Canadian citizens were already doing.

There is a temporatory stop of foreigners buying home for 2 years. It use to be that a foreign student IE CHINESE)can buy home when they go to school here. They would graduate go back to their country and leave the house empty, leaving us Canadian with no home to buy or the prices are too high. The federal government accept immigrants and foreign students (more than 1 million in 2023 ) but not give the time nor finance for the provincial governments to built up the infrastructures to a accomdate them ie hospitals/doctors,schools houses…..very irresponsible of this government.
Gotta say, I have lived in Ontario all my life and in the past 5 years, it is shocking to see how it looks, (and smells) like Pakistan now... millions of struggling Canadians are unemployed, as millions of jobs vanish forever, yet there are hundreds of thousands of immigrants moving here every year? (If the economy is booming, then by all means bring in more people, but the Canadian economy has been in the toilet for a decade!)

Lifetime Canadian here; housing crisis for sure, but what`s even more insidious is many entry level jobs such as fast food industry, production workers in factories, and even culturally significant cornerstones such as Canadian Tires are being owned and operated by East Indians, going so far as to play Indian music over their loudspeakers for us Canadians (both at a McDonald`s and at a Canadian Tire). It`s obnoxious and border lining on reverse racism; because trust me, these people will drive out all the nationals, and replace them with their own temporary workers, whom they have much more control over, and are likely infringing on human rights concerns (taking passports, multiple human occupancy housing), it`s a mess here. If you live in Ontario, Alberta (lots of Indian corruption there and in BC) and British Columbia, you know exactly what I am talking about.

I live in Ontario Canada in an area a lot of these immigrants have come to because of the colleges and our ERs are so overwhelmed I was brought by Ambulance after a car accident, I never got a bed, was treated in a waiting area, it was 4hrs before a dr saw me, 5hrs before I got any pain medication and almost 8hrs before I got cleared to go home with a broken piece of spine. There were more people there who were obvious immigrants than Canadian born people and all of us are suffering.

A young French woman is renting a room in the same house that I am. She is here to teach highschool French. She hasn't lived here for a year, and wants to move to the US for better opportunities, cheaper living, teach at a university. She is expected to treat her students like children, and reward them with a candy/chocolate for answering a question correctly. All problems start in the home.

I was having a conversation with some people international students that said that they don’t really study here (or are studying certain things) and they’re just laughing saying that they just came here for fun… Which also plays into this whole international student scam that’s going on. But to see that they had that reaction like it was funny, it annoyed me. Obviously, I didn’t say something I just said “be careful who you say that to.” Because one day somebody might just snap.
Look as much as the gov exploits us, I just wish everybody came here with a fair heart not trying to exploit people.. no matter where you’re from or your purpose being here.
