If funny how people who value others so little can’t think of how beneficial something like this would be for everyone. Life has far more meaning than to spend it wasting away at a job that will replace you in a heartbeat the second you fall behind even slightly in productivity. And spare me the “your generation is so lazy” bullshit, that argument is tired and done. I’ve worked 2-3 jobs over the course of my 26 years in the workforce. I’ve worked jobs where the norm was 60-80 hours a week expected, 100 if shit really hit the fan. I’ve worked 7 days a week for years without the benefit of vacation time (employer didn’t offer it and wasn’t mandated to offer it) and I’m pretty normal for my generation. The old paradigm and norms need to die, just like the old farts who can’t see past their profit margins. Employees are getting fed up with being abused as little more than slaves at their jobs and barely make more than what their parents did some 20-40 years prior. I can remember, in my area, where $45k was really good pay and you could easily afford a decent life for your family. Now, I’m making 6 figures and while I don’t struggle by any means, I’m also just like the rest of my coworkers who are a few paychecks away from being homeless. The power has shifted far too much in favor of employers.

They have been pushing this for years. 4 day work week is 4 10 hour days. When i was working over 8 was overtime. Before eight was overtime pay. So their pushing to save or take away overtime for workiers ot pay. So after 40 would be counted as o.t. pay. Its about reducing overtime wages.
