💚 you buying the drink and letting him keep the change made me tear up. We have an older gentleman that sells ice cream up and down the Columbia River and we always make it a point to stop and buy from him. We always let him keep the change. We're teaching our kids the old treat others as you'd like them to treat you. We find it's a lost art with this newer generation.
6 days is crazy man, I’ve gotten towed while I was parked at a friends place for 15 minutes. Now that pissed me off, especially because the lot was mostly empty and I was just dropping something off. But man, you have to know when you’re renting if you can put trailers in when they ask you about what car you’ve got so that they don’t tow you

Good to see you helping out the young guy hustling drinks to make a buck.I always said that if a homeless person would use a few dollars they get from panhandling to invest in a case of water a bag of ice and a cheap styrofoam cooler they could earn a decent amount just selling ice water on a summer day. Love seeing the respect you show people every chance you get.
yup. i gave $5 to a homeless guy who was shining peoples car headlights. He removed the fog on my headlights. 8 years of grime build up.. I usually don't give money to homeless begging on the side of the road. I do give money to them if they are at least trying to make a living.
There's someone who does the same when it gets warm here. He'll set up shop near a stop light and offer water bottles for free. Of course, he doesn't discourage donations. 🤣. And I can guarantee he make a lot more than a case of water costs. He's the only one I'll give money to and a cold bottle of water is always welcome.

I do the same thing like you did for the man selling sodas. I try to over-tip or over- pay when I can. Especially to people who are generally angry. It’s my way of being a light in this evil world. I live well-below the poverty level (on social security), but being a Christian makes me thankful for every little thing I have. I wasn’t always like this which makes me even more thankful. You have shown me how to be kind, patient & a better person. Just want you to know. ❤❤❤❤❤
