When I was in my twenties and didn’t know squat, I had a bad opinion of tow truck drivers and their business, but I was wrong. You do a great service that has value to me and the people around me.
You are NOT a bad guy. You perform a necessary, but unpopular service. People that make you the "bad guy" are a bunch of people that don't like rules. Parking rules are important. When the rules are enforced, then everyone that can follow them benefits. I used to be in the towing industry, and, spent way too much time being screamed at by people that thought the rules didn't apply to them. But, business owners, apartment managers, and tenants that needed parking, loved us. You are a great driver, and, it seems, a good person. Keep that up.

Years ago I knew an apartment manager who would clear the car's windshield of dust and dirt then apply a bright orange warning sticker that was 18 by 24 inches about the upcoming tow. Worked every time.
I use to tow U-Hauls all the time, living in a big college town the kids would just leave them everywhere, hey at least you know it will get picked up one way or another.
Yes Johnny, I know about it being a hard job. A few years ago I was needing the job buddy of mine was a tow trucker out of Marietta. So I spent a day with them on cold January day and no heat in the truck. We did a couple of consensual tows. And then we spent the rest of the day picking up and delivering rental equipment from a rental company. I about froze my butt off all day long and after my one day experience it just wasn't for me. That I certainly give you all the props in the world for the job you do on a daily basis. It's a tough job. I do enjoy your videos. Thanks very much
