Mortal Kombat 4 Game Boy Color Fatalities

- A compilation of all the fatalities from the Game Boy Color version of Mortal Kombat 4. Since MK4 was primarily a 3D game, and this port is decidedly a 2D game, the developers took an interesting (and not very effective) method in order to be able to replicate the fatalities' 3D counterparts.

I swear Midway would have ported Mortal Kombat to the ZX Spectrum if they could.
Streetfighter 2 was on it they probably considered it but it was just a little late for that.
They probably used the gameboy camera to make these.
That’s the point, what do you expect them to record with
The bit crushed "Fatality" sound makes them even funnier
The sub-zero one was by far the best one.
Shinnoks was ok
Reptile's Fatality was preformed on Johnny Cage yet, The opponent was Sub-Zero? Scorpion's was Reiko yet the fatality was preformed on himself? Since when did MK4 have Hara Kiri's? D:
***** They're just animated videos of the fatalities. The models are kept ambiguous to avoid identification, but they're typically performing their fatalities on themselves in them.
Scorpion's "Puke" Fatality has me laughing out loud. I love how Scorpion "pukes" on his opponent.
That should have had more fire-like drawings in order to be seen as the fire it actually is.
That's just damn creepy
The TUG effect (after the player activates Scorpion's spear) automatically does Scorpion's fatality (after the opponent's energy's down to zero).
It didn't work to me. What may have gone wrong?
Im so surprised that they didnt make Quanchi fatality be the one where he just uses the enemy's fatality on them. they coudl have saved some more work by doin it this way lol
wow they made sub zero's spine rip look like he's ripping open a gusher
The music is painful
Fujin Buu? (At 0:29)
As bad as these look, the attempt is still fascinating.
atleast the cutscenes and voice samples are amezing on a gameboycolor!!!!!!!
I got this on my GB as a kid. I usually played Scorpion because he's my favorite character in the franchise next to Sub-Zero.
UNBELIABLE boy you hit the nail right on the head
I did like the little blood soaked Fatality screen at the end of the Fatalities, and at least they were actual variations of them, unlike the MK3 GB game.
Damn, it only took me sixteen years to find this video!
I miss this game...
Si toi aussi tes là grâce a benzaie
warzick zick Quand il dis que c'est moche, il rigole pas... :O
Damn c'est bien moche en tout cas
warzick zick Ah ça valait le coup de venir tiens =P !
The finish him sounds like
"KERMERINSHIMN"
"Unbelievable!"
Yeah, no shit. That was just weak. :(
That's actually a pretty good idea to have fatalities as a cut scene.
Too bad the execution was GOD awful!
@TremorMK
Can you post the fatality-moves please?
ps: i love this video. MK 4 ever
How to do unlock reptile
I think they look pretty cool. Could be longer though they are too short.
why everyone in the pictures doing fatality to them selves?
Do you have to be at a specific distance and/or do them with a given timing? I can never do them.
The timing is weird, but you can do them from any location as far as I know.
@@casualvanilla How weird is the timing? A site says that commands should be inputted slowly, but it doesn't say how slowly it should be (something like a button every half second, for instance).
Buen video
I never played Game Boy Color before, and I played Game Boy. Unbelievable!!
I used to play this every damn day when I was a kid, it got lost with a whole bunch of gameboy color games I had
wow! that fatalities videos made me remeber Sega CDs FMVs XD
yeah! What was up with that black screen thing?
Why mortal kombat 4 Europe for gem boy color has no fatality???
I can't even tell what's going on in most of those cutscenes...
i have this game and nice fatalaities
i find it funny how they show a cutscene for each fatality and only show a fraction of it : P
the fact that you have to make out the lost details yourself kinda makes it more gloomy
@DroBONILLA1 You mean Game Boy, not Advance?
@Aran234
It's the Game Boy color. It isn't like it supports HD graphics or something,
Cool 8)
Another one of those "Why did they even bother" games i see.
i have to give them credit for making those graphics into a Game boy. Sub Zero's is the most detailed one.
This is like playing Mortal Kombat on the ZX Spectrum
This is real dubstep
You can say that again!
Reptile looks a little bit like Cyclops (Cyclops-Reptile?), but whatever.
Guess what game I'm not getting?
that was better than the console fatalities
anyone remember mk deadly alliance? it was the first game i got for my ps2 when i was 6 or 7... baby's first m rated game?
Wow, what music...
@Aran234 dude there's more then one pixel in this video
OMG what a lot of PIXELALITIES!!!
Also, Reptile, Raiden, Reiko, and Shinnok had good fatalities.
At least they are more brutal and bloody than those of MK:DC :-)
What's happening?
is it me or is the game just using mini-clips of the fatalities from the actual MK4?
The games using footage from the actual ports.
and for this video game, 1 word... "Fatality"!
Awesome game
I like what they did in this version but the fatality screens don't last long enough.
*FINISHING MOVES*
There was MK4 on Gameboy Color?????
@DeniableAzzy Actually, MK2 on the Gameboy was one of the two successful handheld ports
I agree
when was this released?
1998
@whatthefuck66666 You mean "worse", possibly? And that PD port was really fun in my opinion, I'm not sure why, but it was.
im a video game nerd, and i have an emulator for my kindle and i got this game on it!
Sub-Zero's seemed preddy cool
I'm scared of some gameboy color games because I dont like how the music was and it was just almost one color
especially considering it is just a Game Boy Color Game.
Awww Quan Chi doesn't even get to hit them with their leg. :'(
No there are multiple songs in the game, you just happen to here one of them a lot in this video. I would consider playin' this game first before passing judgment. I've played it and the controls are acceptable, except when it comes to the Fatalities
If it wasn't for the fatalities that could be the atari 2600 or Intellivision version.
@alletunbrot They're fighting in the Living Forest.
@feetforeveryone Yes..It Is...
Too bad the Atari 2600 and Magnavox Odyssey didnt get their MK conversions back then huh xD
This is from a little over ten years ago, give it a break.
sometimes i just can not see what is happaning lol
Yup sure is lol....close 2nd is MK Advance!
it's okay for its time.....
@deepcaptor MKA was pretty good. The only bad thing about it, was the "kreate a fatality" thing.
GREATEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@DarKKnightt07 The game only had one song that played through the entire time you played. I actually, unfortunately, owned this
The FMVs are awesome!
Reptile was fighting Sub Zero but made fatality on Jonny Cage 😛
at first, i thought this was Mortal Kombat for the Atari 2600!
1:29 WTF!? Reptile looks like the friggin No-Face Zombie from Scooby Doo!
1:32 when did Sub-zero turn into Johnny Cage?
lol i used to have the game but neva do the fatality
unfortunet ly i have the game, as a xmas gift in 99 along with MKgold.... yeah.
Memory Limitations.
Sub Zero's fatality was ACTUALLY awesome...
Rieko's wasn't too shabby...
The rest was CRAP !!
Shinnok's was fine IMO. At least you could tell what was happening.
@TheDefjamfightforny Didn't you see the cutscene? No, it's not in colour.
Is the game real?!
somehow this is scary i don't know why ;) the music affects me
Epilepssssyyyy.... x.x
And I would have over 9000.
These fatalities remind me of creepypastas, for some reason. Either way, they suck though -- the fact that they remind me of something from a haunted Game Boy game are their only real redeeming factors. Regardless, thank you for uploading them -- at least I now know about the phail that was GBC MK4.
@mikeelman Scorpio was pretty good, too
@Alejandro Diaz
Quan-Chi's was almost good, but why doesn't he beat them with their own leg? That's what made it awesome! Instead, he just rips off the leg.
