Just found your channel and have enjoyed the tutorial. I have subscribed as I enjoyed it.
I just wanted to mention for folks who struggle with having a large loop of the previous row’s yarn, just use a stitch marker or 🧷 to put through the loop and close. This prevents the stitches from becoming undone if you happen to catch the yarn and pull the loop shut. I find it especially helpful if I am making a large blanket as I do not need to worry it gets pulled out when going in and out of the bag or while I am working on it while watching tv, etc. I even do this if I have several WIP’s so it does not accidentally pull out any stitches. I hope this helps those who worry about the long hanging loop from the previous row. It has saved me a few times, especially when the kids are playing and accidentally get caught up in my yarn.
Thanks again for sharing. Peace and love from an American living in Scotland. 🙏❤️🏴
This is so much fun. Like weaving and crocheting at once.
I learned the hard way to put a stitch marker instead of a big loop at the end of a row.
I make mistakes. Lots. I love a pattern that allows me to find them fast and fix them.
Thank you for sharing.
I did a queen size blanket with burgundy and beige….everyone loves it! Thank you for sharing your talent and being a great teacher😊
Wow what an amazing teacher you are! I will try this gorgeous pattern today 😊
This is one of my favorite patterns!! It looks amazing with a color changing yarn too. ❤. Great tutorial.
That is next on my list to try! Color changing yarn as my main color 😍
@@SierrasCraftyCreations if you can find a short color changing yarn, it works great as the foreground diamonds. I did this recently too. I have just ordered some contrasting colors to see how it will look with 2 variegated skeins. I did it with a baby blanket years ago with another mosaic pattern and it really worked well, so hoping this will too.
Tips on sides for a border????
This is an incredible tutorial! Thank you for sharing it!
making it in black black and white because those are the colors i had enough if to make the size i wanted. the tutorial made it super easy thank you
Great tutorial. Thanks you.
Great tutorial, and a wonderful pattern. Soon as I saw this, I had to make one - a baby blanket in chunky dark grey and royal blue - it looks great! Thank you!
That sounds so pretty!
liked & sub 2am (insomnia). Thanks.
Precioso😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Need the multiples, I’d like to make about a double size. Please? Thank you.
It looks like I might have to go down to a thinner yarn as I can't get the right shade of accent colour I want in our local shop, if so I'm going to have to used a slightly smaller hook and increase the number of chain I start off with. Am I correct in thinking that I will need to have multiples of 5 + 1 chains to start with?
An amazing blanket and an amazing detailed tutorial!!! We really needed it!
Thank you so much!!!❤😊!!!
Thank you so much :) So glad you enjoyed it!
Good for Pot Holders......😃
Yes this stitch would be great for pot holders!
What are the multiples for this? Would love to make a size bigger than a throw, but smaller than a Queen.
5+2
@@annerysgallt286 that can't be correct
@@annerysgallt286nope. That's not logical.
My calculation is multiples of 10 plus 5
What’s the multiples?
Baby Blanket: 625 yards (1,250 total)
Throw Blanket: 660 (1,320 total)
Queen Blanket: 1,320 (2,640 total)
King Blanket: 1,980 (3,960 total)
Ch 225 (255, 455, 555)
It's a Multiple of 10 plus 4 (which is what I used when I made this) but looks like she did multiple of 10 plus 5...
@@Aleks25900 so I can also do the x10+5?
@garapata5641 just do 2 rows as a sample. I think multiple of 10 plus five works since all her chain numbers end in 5
