When we moved the first time, we were lucky to find an ad in the Pennysaver that a local company had dozens of boxes they didn't want to pay to recycle and were giving away. They were very sturdy cardboard boxes with handles that were specially designed to hold two frozen turkeys. They were the best moving boxes ever.

Hi David, Great to see you on RUclips I miss you. Sorry you could not move all your Wiizard Of OZ collection, you should have asked me to hold them till you can came back to Louisiana to get them. I move 10 years of a go to our new house. It was only 9 miles in the same town. I packed my collection very carefully too. The collect is all set up and looks nice. I packed it by myself I did not let anyone help me. See you in OZ on the Yellow Brick Road

I moved from England to Florida and I honestly didn’t have any idea or clue how I was to move any of my things. So I sort of bit the bullet and mailed my collectibles wrapped in clothes and bubble wrap and small boxes. Luckily, everything arrived safe and sound no marks or broken pieces. But it was at the back of my mind the whole time.
Will you be getting any of your collection back from Louisiana that you left?
How did you end up across the pond (If you don't mind me asking)? I'm glad your things arrived safely! Unfortunately what was left is not coming to Florida.
@@LAQuadling Oh noo! I am soo sorry to hear that. My husband is in the US military and he got stationed in England. Thats how we met and got married. Now I am happily living the Florida life. I somewhat think of Dorothy when I get homesick. Strange new land the new normal to adapt too.
