The Eden Waltz was composed by Michael and Angela Hayton in 1986. It is a 16-bar dance which should be done to music set at 31 beats per minute.
The first move begins with a reverse turn, a hover corte then a chasse back into a contra check. The second movement begins with a natural turn, an open impetus into a slow lock, followed by a double reverse spin. The third movement begins with a drag hesitation into a back lock followed by an open impetus and a chasse down line of dance in promenade position. The final movement commences with a natural fallaway, a slip pivot then a curved feather and ending the Eden Waltz with a hesitation change.
