Thank you for allowing your kids to do stuff like this. I wasn't allowed to shave my legs while going to Catholic school and we were required to wear uniforms. That meant skirts or skorts on church days. I got bullied a lot. Thank you for listening to your kids.
Thank you for that intro! And thank you for being the way you are especially what you do for your kids. I remember vividly how I had to talk my mum into letting me shave my armpit hair to the point that I was bullied because that hair was sticking out of my tshirts in school. Even though it took around 4 weeks for my mother to give in... That memory haunts me to this day
It's so interesting what carries over in to our adult hood because I was the same way but with my legs and pubic area!
@@ItsJustKelli legs and pubic area was easier for me... with my legs I could hide it. I just wore long Jeans even in the hottest summer day

Yep, and those same mommy bloggers aren't being real and are probably causing their family and kids way more harm than they realize. I learned very early to put my family first over my pay day.
24:26 when you talked abt being at the camp grounds with outdoor showers… you could see ppls feet & head… 😂 I had a throw back moment. I was at my sibling’s wedding, very pregnant… went to the bathroom, started to squat & realized that the doors & stalls were SO SHORT & janky… you could literally make eye contact with the person in the stall next to you while tandem pooping. 😂😂😂 People could legitimately see you wipe outside of the stall. Pointless having a door honestly. I was like
‘wtf! Was this a piece of scrap lumber they had laying around & refused to buy more??! Like Nahhh Jimmy. Just saw the one door in half. It will be fine!’

Can't wait to hear how camping went. Prices have really soared and it is so hard to find sites, unless you are planning 6 months in advanced. State parks used to be the cheapest around here (Michigan), but those are even getting pricey and they are electric only...
She inherited her dad's genes and I feel for her so much.
And yes, It's so hard to find a space let alone afford one for more than a couple nights now!
I'm curious if your girls have tried a menstrual cup and at what age. Do you have a recommendation for a good one for teens to start with?
My oldest has and is still on the fence..
@@ItsJustKelli my daughter just started this year so still a little young for one I think, but hoping she is brave enough to try one as she gets a little older. I know I was scared and thought it was gross at first, and my first one was diva cup. I hated it and didn't try another one for years! Then I came across your videos reviewing them a few years ago and decided to try the sckoon. Such a game changer and so much better than my first experience!

So much changes over time, I can't fault my mom for not letting me start hair removal sooner, bc she was just going by the normal back then, but I hope that in the future more kids can feel comfortable and more parents can feel more empowered to make decisions that are best for themselves instead of following others.
