- If I'm being honest, I don't really think Jellystone Parks are really camping, but I blame that on my upbringing. It was a nice little adventure however and great way to ease our kids in to camping, also, it was the ONLY site we could find available on such short notice. We definitely are looking forward to going to more remote places, so suggestions are always welcome!

I get the same kind of migraines, am sorry that you have to deal with it too. The ER never helps. I try caffeine first then my naratriptan, when I apsolutely have to. I get them in the same seasonal changes, and when I have some stress and right now when I have an infection going on. I get my for weeks at a time, and sometimes for the whole month when the weather is changing, and when they do start to go away, they linger. I am so glad you guys had a great camping trip :)
Minimal Mom always talks about the company RV Mattress. They are part of Helix I believe. They may have a more comfortable option for you.
We just stayed at the Jellystone in Warrens, WI. Had a blast! We stayed in the villas. I’d have to say my favorite part was driving around in a golf cart. 😀
Yaaaasss!! That table cloth brings back so many memories! What a fun trip! Camping is a LOT of work with packing all goodies, food, gear, clothes, kitchen supplies, it’s like having to think of what you need, pack it all and repack in a short time. Like a “mini move” and sometimes you need a vacation after the “vacation”! Luv Georgies side-eye around min 16+ haha. John said glamping and your perplexed reaction. Haha. John spending time with the kids, that was nice to see too. They’ll remember these trips for a lifetime. Memory makers they call them right? Maybe an egg-crate or foam topper would help with the bed. Bet the kids loved their own tent, and Wyatt with a MOUSETRAP? Ha! Kaia loves hearing you got your period too I bet, (the little kid in me is feeling like, “really ma?l) haha. Thanks for sharing this with us, it’s always fun watching your vids. I’ve had horrific migraines since I was a kid. Puking, need dark room, ice on my head, wishing I could just escape life, and then the migraine hangover, yes that’s exactly what it’s like! I even sometimes get cravings for “hangover food” like greasy cheeseburgers or whatever from them. Absolutely horrid, no words to describe them.
Yes! It is like a mini move! I get why some people just park their campers and leave them for the season, but honestly that doesn't seem like camping to me either.
Hi Kelli, I don’t normally comment but I wanted to let you know that I feel for you as I also get horrible migraines (due to a concussion I got from a work accident). Used to get migraines 20+days of the month but I’ve been lucky enough to have finally found a medication, Nurtec, that works for me and my migraines. It’s extremely expensive without insurance ($100+a pill) but with my insurance and a coupon, I get it for free. I just wanted to let you know that’s an option although I’m sure at this point you’ve already heard of it. Hang in there pretty momma!! You’re doing great raising three amazing kiddos! I have two girls and a boy too! ☺️

I was curious how 4 of you would sleep in the camper, having a tent as well is smart! Jellystone is definitely a resort! LOL
We recently stayed at Alum Creek State Park, might be pretty close to you. We really liked the sites we had. I haven't been to many remote campgrounds, so there is always noise and kids bright and early running around. :)
My best friend can always get something from the claw machines. She can look around in it and tell you what you will be able to get from it.
she must be super popular with the kids! I always think I can get something and then always fail lol.
