Im starting to realize the videos that got dancers like bluprint, nonstop, and lestwinz popular are almost or about 10 years old...a lot happens in that time i remember blueprint messed his leg up in a video and ever since i havent seen him dance as crazy
Les twins don’t seem to be off really. It’s just that most of these other dancers are more so performers than battlers. That’s why they seem off in battles.
Bluprint did his thing he just had 0 stamina/cardio you could tell he was gassed out after the first round but if we focus on the moves and musicality they were still solid.

As someone who dances and has been watching these dancers for almost a decade... my honest opinion that fik shun won, but bluprint wasn’t AS bad as everyone thinks. He definitely didn’t perform as well as he used to, but he still put a good match. All in all, I feel like both dancers could of gone a little harder. I also think something was troubling blue that day, you can tell by his facial expression and his “idc” attitude. Would 100% like a rematch. DEFINITELY wasn’t a 3-0. I think blu secured the first round, but that’s open to debate.

Don’t know what bluprint has been through in the past year, but his battling skills reminded me of his rounds in fusion concept. Where he was battling like he was distracted and forgot where he was. Reusing moves but not incorporating them into something completely unexpectedly that leaves people wondering. His tutting is cool but before he was known for tutting he had strong concepts of body wave , ticking and incorporating other styles in his style. People say it’s been too much tik tok but I wouldn’t say so. When you don’t keep up with being challenged and progressing you fall and try to overcompensate would be my guess. Battling against fikshun would normally be close but bluprint would have a slight advantage over with concepts but this battle fikshun takes it with listening to the beat… all of it. I get it some of our perception is about angles but dance isn’t just about tutting. You can see enough at any angle to tell if someone is killing it or not. I’ve seen bluprint kill it plenty of times, this just isn’t one of those times. I’m sure there’s some pressure looking back at this as well but at the end of the day it’s just progress 😀.

Blu looked mad gassed after the first round and had nothing left going into Round 3. His control is still crazy but I feel like his tuts became repetitive. Blu had the first round and Fik took the other two, Round 2 was close but Fik was more diverse and stepped out the pocket a lot more
I know Bluprint fell off, but give him time and hopefully he'll come back. Solo, tiktoks, battles, or kicking it with dragon house and other dancers, he's still grinding and I still respect that as one of my favorite dancers Fikshun's style and musicality is insane and came in with what he got. Yea some days you have anxious days, your energy isn't buzzing. Happens to everyone. But when others are in their offices keeping their anxiety under wraps, other people are on stage or on the field where everyone can see them.

Blu Rounds 1 and 2 Were Dope, I can see he hasn't practiced in awhile,[ shoutout to tiktok ] FikShun Rounds was Dope As well, but he came battle Ready, If Bluprint Practiced Like 2 or 3 months in advance to this event I think honestly he would have tied up with Fikshun at least, also Fikshun was Battle Ready He brought HEAT 🔥. Blueprint relies on upper body more That’s where Fikshun’s advantage comes in able to use both lower & upper body well...using the dance floor to his maximum...they were both good but I feel blueprint would have been better if he used more footworks too.... This battle was like Bluprint vs Skitzo reloaded. Blu turned Skitzo, FikShun to weak old Blu.... there are dancing to different levels, Fik should try to entertain less, and dance more. Blu is fuckin impressive in body control. And in interpretating the beat, so the lyrics. Wow man, wow.
Battle was pretty dope. FikShun won by keeping a consistent energy and saving a lot of his ground styles and power moves for the later rounds. If Blu had the practice and experience from the multi round format in the recent Battlefest like FikShun, he may have had more stamina and the battle could have felt less lethargic.
Honestly Bluprint lost against skitzo and no fik shun that give Vegas 2 W's and ATL L's. When the fik shun vs skitzo battle happening thats what I wanna see.
Fik-shun 2-1 Blu killed him first round & I think he would've won the whole thing if he had practiced more & wasn't so out of breath. Fik-shun hasn't stopped working since covid hit & Blu been taking it lax. But if Blu would've had the energy it would've turned out different.

Dang... I was honestly expecting more. Ima gigantic fikshun fan but I honestly thought blu would’ve wiped the floor with him. It goes without saying fikshun “won”, but it’s even hard to say that because it didn’t even really feel like a battle lol. However, as a huge fan of both I expected a lot more from blu. Alot of these dancers don't have solid foundation nor implement bounce/groove so their dance approach/style becomes more about having the flashy moves, blow-ups, cleanest sets and crowd pleasers to translate into dance. On top of that, the music they listen/train/battle with doesn't help bring out raw dancing. They don't want to be put in a box and be unique but not learning foundation in specific styles, mastering overall dance fundamentals and embracing dance culture...... they put themselves in a box even more and become less unique.
Exactly. That’s why les Twins, rubix, and most of criminals crew members win big competition. They just go to these competitions and dance to random songs. They go off feels. That’s why their battles be never boring. This one almost made me sleep.

Most still young tho so their dance can still evolve, but in this climate, it’s a lot of gassing, and events setting up matches so people can watch them do the dope sets they’ve been working on lol.
Always wanted to see Fikshun battle someone competitive, because I felt like he was better in the past, but wanted him to prove me wrong. Based on blu Tik Toks I would have considered him to be competitive. Maybe next time.
Fikshun been improving and battling everybody, it definitely showed in this battle. Blu needs to go back in the lab to work more on his craft, because he still took the first round in my opinion...when i saw the names battling i thought i was dreaming.

That’s where Fikshun’s advantage comes in able to use both lower & upper body well...using the dance floor to his maximum...they were both good but I feel blueprint would have been better if he used more footworks too....

This battle was like Bluprint vs Skitzo reloaded. Blu turned Skitzo, FikShun to weak old Blu.... there are dancing to different levels, Fik should try to entertain less, and dance more. Blu is fuckin impressive in body control. And in interpretating the beat, so the lyrics. Wow man, wow.
Battle was pretty dope. FikShun won by keeping a consistent energy and saving a lot of his ground styles and power moves for the later rounds. If Blu had the practice and experience from the multi round format in the recent Battlefest like FikShun, he may have had more stamina and the battle could have felt less lethargic.
Fik is always 10 moves to a finish move....Blu is super tech 24/7....Props to both are beast...
Honestly Bluprint lost against skitzo and no fik shun that give Vegas 2 W's and ATL L's.

Blu killed him first round & I think he would've won the whole thing if he had practiced more & wasn't so out of breath. Fik-shun hasn't stopped working since covid hit & Blu been taking it lax. But if Blu would've had the energy it would've turned out different.

I don't kno blueprint but fik shun is always painting a story when dancing. He vibes on good crowd innerg to me. He express hinself in such an abstract way that in so interesting to me. He keeps me focused interested n wanting more. I haven't seen a dancer yet that he's battled that can paint such a story. I Only kno fik shun from tv n a couple RUclips vids
You people are thinking that blueprint performance was not up to the mark but I would suggest that if blueprint performance was recorded from the front angle then You would see blueprint tutting and popping more clearly..... and it was lit. if shown from front angles

I would barely have recognized Blu if he wasn`t in the title. Kinda diggin Billy Bob Thorntonprint though, although he seemed a bit out of it. With all the social distancing I'm seeing, he might have gotten the 'rona.
Dang... I was honestly expecting more. Ima gigantic fikshun fan but I honestly thought blu would’ve wiped the floor with him. It goes without saying fikshun “won”, but it’s even hard to say that because it didn’t even really feel like a battle lol. However, as a huge fan of both I expected a lot more from blu. I mean blu has one of the sickest battles on battlefest, so I was expecting for this to get really crazy, but blu just looked tired. Oh well, still got lots of respect for both. Great job guys!!

But all these battles be on some who “out PERFORMED” who 🤷♂️ Good stuff, but damn is it not cool to show up and dance anymore? A whole lotta lab, but where’s the feel and the dance? Maybe just drop 5 tracks and let dudes eat.
Agreed, battle fest is notorious for that. Throw all those dancers at battle fest into a match where the music is randomly picked and watch them fold lol.

The main jams are harder to hold bcuz of restrictions, but that shouldn’t of meant just give me your song to play now. Every battle is a showcase...the energy seems to be how everyone is their own, and doesn’t have to do this or that style soooo play open music and let people adapt. Why am I watching your home lab sessions in a battle? Can we see you dance 🤷♂️ The new wave seems to be, who can out move or out perform who.
Alot of these dancers don't have solid foundation nor implement bounce/groove so their dance approach/style becomes more about having the flashy moves, blow-ups, cleanest sets and crowd pleasers to translate into dance. On top of that, the music they listen/train/battle with doesn't help bring out raw dancing. They don't want to be put in a box and be unique but not learning foundation in specific styles, mastering overall dance fundamentals and embracing dance culture...... they put themselves in a box even more and become less unique.
Exactly. That’s why les Twins, rubix, and most of criminals crew members win big competition. They just go to these competitions and dance to random songs. They go off feels. That’s why their battles be never boring. This one almost made me sleep.
@@tl03rizz19 yoooo listen that was a heavy observation. But that’s exactly what a lack of foundation will do to you. You don’t want to be put in a box, so you never really outgrow yours. Most still young tho so their dance can still evolve, but in this climate, it’s a lot of gassing, and events setting up matches so people can watch them do the dope sets they’ve been working on lol.

Fikshun been improving and battling everybody, it definitely showed in this battle. Blu needs to go back in the lab to work more on his craft, because he still took the first round in my opinion...when i saw the names battling i thought i was dreaming.
Fikshun is looking more like Bluprint and Bluprint is looking more like Voltage.
