I would argue that Mark is the best example of a real man that you have had on yet, and that's saying a lot!

For me, I have a good relationship with my dad now. He has said he's proud of me. I just can't accept it from him, or any other man, because I feel they don't fully know me.

Still disappointed w/ the past evasion of Driscoll, w/ regard to significant issues at Mars Hill Church where he once pastored, but still praying for a positive resolution ... After all, there is a Redeemer

Chew on the meat. Spit out the bones. You don’t have to approve of all aspects of a person to find helpful takeaways. We are sinners and we all mess up

Such a fantastic podcast guys and all the material within matters.
People who want to criticise anything from Marks past are missing the urgency of the present on a global scale!.
Men MUST stand together to protect ourselves, our families and the vulnerable in the name of God so as to protect the world TOGETHER AS MEN and raise it higher than it’s ever been before, all in the name of Jesus and the Creator of all that exists!.
Thanks from Australia guys for helping make the world a better place where we are real men, creating and guiding others to become real men who will eventually stand for freedom, truth, love and justice that’s NOT governed by Government but by men who are humble and strong enough too invite into their life and very beings, the Creator of all things to help us all navigate worlds we’re not qualified to navigate as we grow his characteristics within ourselves in these repetitive hard time cycles and patterns that evil continues to create to hold us all down as he hurt us to hurt him and our families past, present and future!! 😎🙌🏻
“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”
    Amen! 😇🙏💛🏆

Every guest that is featured on OOM has a past. That’s true for us all. Don’t judge Mark or any guest, but learn from them. Everyone has a story. Don’t discount the message. Thank you, Ryan, for bringing Mark on. 💯

Interesting conversation. OOM is a great resource and platform to support men! That being said, would Christian guys benefit from a similar platform with clear faith-driven content?

The missing component is Truth. That truth is Jesus Christ.

Hello Ryan, I hope you see this comment and that it encourages you.
Our timeline is based on Jesus Christ's birth. He was born 2024 years ago. Our history books labeled it BC: which is Before Christ, and AD: Ano Domini, which is Latin for the time of our Lord.
Nowadays, they label it BCE: Before Current Era and CE: Current Era. Despite them changing the labels, ask yourself what happened that made them transition from BCE to CE? It is still Jesus Christ's birth.
    I hope this helps sir!

For the Christians reading this, I have a serious question: Where in scripture is stated by Jesus he was/is God?

John 10:33 The Jews attempt to stone Him for claiming to be God. The Bible quotes Him as saying "I and the Father are one." Perhaps He did claim to be God... we don't know... The Bible doesn't quote every word that came from His mouth but the circumstantial evidence is solid.

Hey Ryan, I have a question I'm hoping to run by you. I'm a middle school PE teacher and just finished up my first full year. I was able to make some good connections with the kids(mostly surface level conversations) and really enjoyed my first year, but, I feel like I need to be doing so much more with the platform I've been given. I'm unsure how to truly impact these kids and make a lasting difference in their lives. I want to inspire them to grow and pass on wisdom to them in this short window of time that I get with them as their teacher. I wanted to reach out and ask if you have any resources on how I can better reach these kids or if you have any practical advice that comes to mind. Any bit helps, thanks for your time and for all you do!
PS. I teach at a public school so I know I'm limited as far as sharing the gospel. I want to learn how I can share Jesus with these kids too, in a way that is respectful and appropriate, but this question is mostly focused on general life stuff. How can I help them become better people, etc.

They killed Jesus because he said he was the Son of God and he performed miracles showing he had Gods blessing. At Matthew 4:9,10 Jesus told Satan, “Go away! it is to God alone that you must worship and render sacred service” So if Jesus is God then is he saying he worships himself in this verse?

    • @fennek5351
      @fennek5351 Месяц назад +1

Yes. John 1 also, as many other verses, claims that Jesus, The Word, is God.

This past is still going on. Ryan, love what you’re doing and the guests you have on but spent a good part of the morning going down the Mark Driscoll rabbit hole. Still not sure this was a good guest to have on. If anyone has a link to where Mark has dealt with and repented from his past please send as it would be nice to see that he has changed.
