How far away do you think we are from getting good ARM Linux laptops? I mean like flagship level?

ARM right now is already doing great on Linux, even better than Windows on ARM. What's going to be the deciding factor is Qualcomm's Series X chips and the impact this will have on Windows and Linux. Windows is getting substantial benefits in some of the preliminary benchmarks, but the cautionary tale is Qualcomm has this nasty habit to rely on proprietary crap and not open it up to anyone. If the chips aren't too restrictive, it's feasible that Linux could be great and even better than Windows potentially, especially given Windows on ARM is a disaster.

Apple's proprietary garbage and ecosystem lock in is pretty scary.
