Morehouse in Enugu: "Obi Dimkpa" in Igbo

The Morehouse College Glee Club visited Enugu on its 50th Anniversary Tour of Nigeria. On July 1, 2022, the Glee Club gave a concert at Okpara Square for Enugu State secondary school students. The show was attended by US Consulate Lagos Public Affairs Officer Stephen Ibelli and his staff, and Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and his staff.
"Obi Dimkpa" is a composition by Igwe Prof. Laz Ekwueme. The text is based on Igbo proverbs. Gerald Eze of Nnamdi Azikiwe University performed the Oja (flute) introduction. The vocal soloists are Miles Dungey and B'Nathaniel Orlu of Morehouse College.
