I'd love to buy some of the things we've seen Tom make. He truly is a talented gem. There aren't many people left who can do what he does. Hardly anyone does brain tanning anymore. It's becoming a lost art.
As a teenager and adult I was a logger. They should of left one side uncut. It would slid a lot better. I mostly did what was called Stud Logging as a teenager. The logs were 8ft 6in in length. We either carried them out of the woods, end over end or drug them by tractor. But this is a very nice size tree. I hate the thought they left the rest of the tree. Or did they? We won't know.
Yes he harvest the perfect tree all right then while making the canoe pops a hole in it!! I cannot figure out why the guy having it built did not end the deal, oh it's cause if TV show!!! Pure BS..

It’s amazing a man almost 80 years old is still so active
I've made a couple of these out of cypress. Look forward to doing it again.

Send me the bark, please sir.
I guarantee most of Tom's money isn't coming from selling crafts.
Yeah I bet he sells fentanyl up there.
Tom has a beautiful touch with a chainsaw.
I'd love to see the whole procedure without using power tools...
Fun fact: whoever comments right now hasn't even seen the whole video
