I post this song every year on the anniversary of my moms passing. She was such a strong woman and this song totally epitomizes the emotional rollercoaster we went through from getting sick to her passing. We had these conversations. It’s such a good track to give people that closure they didn’t know they needed
For me, it's the frailty of never being certain what life brings, where life is going to lead or how long life will last. It's that feeling which attacks one's faith, one's hope, one's joy. This song expresses that. Knowing that we don't always know.
@5:41 Yup, exactly that. Ryan Clark (lead singer) wrote this song specifically for this purpose. This is meant as a "final love letter" to his family and friends, in his words "letting them know my heart is right with God, and they can take comfort in that." I believe the song is inspired by "Do not stand at my grave and weep" by Mary Elizabeth Frye, and also a few Bible verses regarding our physical death and spiritual eternal life, after the promise solidified by Christ at the Resurrection. "Although it may seem depressing, {the song} is meant to give hope, and understanding."
You should dive into the POD rabbit hole Ty!!! They got Southtown, Rock the Party, Sleeping Awake, Youth of the Nation, Lights Out, Boom, Snuff the Punk, Full Color, On Fire, Rockin’ With the Best, This One Goes Out To You, Satellite, LOTS of good songs!! With positive messages like Demon Hunter
1 of their lighter tracks.. not my thing anymore but they were one of the 1st metal bands i found and probably never wouldve found the bands i love today.. they have great talent and this one took me by surprise when i first heard it
Hmm had never heard the band before but this really made me feel sad in a very unusual way..Sad and ashamed..as so much of the loss could have been prevented..such a simple thing to wear a mask, wash your hands and use sanitizer if unable to wash them and keeping a safe distance. Keep Strong Keep Safe My Dear Friend
Mmm wow what a cheery song really up beat....NOT different though good beat but this is not the sort of thing I would listen to normally but then who says I'm normal lol
This was kinda dark. Like not bad, just dark & id have to be in a mood for this. And i love dark music, but I think more grunge or metallica dark if that makes sense ... 🤔🤨. Was ok.

They are amazing! One of my all-time favorite bands!
It has a melancholy feel and I thought of the patients that I have lost in the past few months. Interesting💕
Same here Tia..so many lost and sadly not given the send off they deserved for their life..so very very sad
Their album Storm the gates of hell is amazing, every song is 🔥 fire!
Easily my favorite song from them. Super deep and meaningful.

I chose this song as my favorite because my dad died and it helps me to cope with it he was 41 when he died and i miss him thats ehy i chose this song
My dad had unexpectedly died a few months ago and I can 100% agree that this song just hits different, evoking so much more emotion than other songs
Just because I LOVE Demon Hunter!!
My interpretation is simple...dont sweat the small stuff....dont feel pain when i die because no one ever really dies.
I like this. Never heard this group before. Cool!

Depressing to those who believe this corporeal life on earth is all there is and all there ever will be. To others, encouraging.

Needed this, Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
I literally carried my best friend down the aisle after he killed himself this song has a really deep meaning for me

Great channel, intro, and song choice!
Great song, it's his version of the letter some dying people write for their loved ones, thank you for reacting to this one.
Ty your so cool !! Nice song !! I have to say I’m 57 and love all kind of music 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️
Demon Hunter is so dope!! Not best song choice maybe try ASH, MORE THAN BONES, or ON MY SIDE
they hit on a big spectrum of styles. check out "fear is not my guide" for a melodic song and "lesser gods" for heavy song.

Keep Strong Keep Safe My Dear Friend
I always looked at this song as the church walking down the aisle with Christ on that final day GOD marrying His bride
Mmm wow what a cheery song really up beat....NOT different though good beat but this is not the sort of thing I would listen to normally but then who says I'm normal lol
Y despair demons Are from imperviousness to butcheringpeople
MRM was I supposed to understand that song and video? I didn't understand anything about it. But...anyone who knows me is not surprised.

Please react to one of my favorite songs : "waiting for a star to fall" from Boy meets Girl !!!
