    Thanks for your video. I'm in land since pre-sale and from what I understand the concept of land always has been to give more value to older sets of cards. Therefore, I have to assume that playing land is mostly for players who have been around since untamed,beta and alpha. I agree land in it's current form is bot welcoming for new players and not so much fun to play. But,this will hopefully change with the new updates in this current year. I think the biggest problem is the long development of it.

      I wasn't pre-sale but I managed to get some early 2021 at 15-20 dollars each.

    I guess land is not for everyone. That solana game you mentioned has lands going for $200 at the lowest. I'm more confident in parking my money in Splinterlands. I can build it slowly. I can even build it for free if I consistently rely on just Hive post rewards.

      I mean a single transaction of 200 USD vs 31 USD + 50 USD + grain + time crystals + cards. And just to be clear as unless you wish to constantly be dealing with grains your first plot will have to be a grain farm to support the others so X2 all of that. Also the income you earn from hive blogging isn't free money is money sir know your worth king

    seems complicated. they should realize the easier and more relevant it is to the game, the more people will want to buy them.

    I totally disagree with you. This gave me a way to sell all my old cards & turn all of that investment of time, energy and fiat over the last 3 years into a machine that makes me resources that I can sell without having to deal with bots. I bought most of my plots way back in the beginning when they were $10 each and guess what? - I scored a castle. I rented out all my cards for about a month back when CL cards were good for renting out and I made a lot of DEC to buy the presale "building in a box" packages and now almost all my plots are making me resources plus almost all of them have a building in a box so the next phase I will be first getting my buildinds up and I only need to buy 3 power cores. I have almost 4 million grain and I am waiting for the grain LP's to come online.
    Land is going to bring PVE, a ton of LP's, boss fights and maybe even player owned arenas that will get a cut of the SPS wins.
    Also it's 50K DEC per land for 100% efficiency and you should be getting the max GF CL common cards for each slot.

      I am happy for you nice win. I also managed to get a keep with my initial 50 plots. However, main I address is lands arnt fun, its a drain of resources, and is not welcoming to new players.
      Imagine a new player with a limited deck wanting to dip his toes in land.

      @@SLGuides Your point/argument is like removing the PVE mining from WOW and calling the WOW marketplace boring and draining.
      PVE and boss fights are coming to Splinterlands. Those will most likely drop resources to new players that they can sell to land owners. Also coming is land resources getting dropped in rewards chests for PVP battles (time crystals) and brawls (mana).
      The PVE part of this game is kind of getting developed backwards so your point is kind of relevant now but it won't be later.

    Im pretty sure you did something wrong or your plot is bugged or something. I have a common plot like you showed here in this video with only 4500 PP and my worksite was built in about a month. And it only took me about 30k DEC, not the entire 50K. If I had to guess you dont have your DEC staked to the correct region, so your plots are running with no efficiency. But I do totally agree, the land aspect of everything is much much too complicated.

    • @SLGuides
      @SLGuides  9 месяцев назад

      I do know I can input level 1s and get cheaper lands but for majority of land users it will be lvl 10 commons and rares.

    • @myfinancialjourney1
      @myfinancialjourney1 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@SLGuides Well regardless, I still think you need more DEC staked, or should touch base with someone in discord. None of my plots took more than a couple weeks, and I have some magic and occupied plots which is 3X the PP of a regular plot. Yours says years and years, something isnt right at all

    I get your perspective, but respectfully disagree. Land isn't for everyone, and it wont' be for normies, but it IS meant for gamified investors who want functionality, optionality, and flexibility. There will also be several types of gamers in this game, and it wont be meant for everyone.

    • @KQforever
      @KQforever 9 месяцев назад +1

      And to answer your question, why isn't it for everyone? Because it isn't yet in this initial phase. Additionally, it is meant for those who are providing the backbone of the game economy, which new players partake in because of the sustainability of that economy.

      I personally feel that many see it as I do. I know many "small players" with tracts that don't use their land because of how complicated it is.
