He lost his 9 year relationship, he didn’t see his family for 2 years while filming, he lost his sense of self, he had a health scare, and even his natural speaking voice is different because of this role. This man went above and beyond and it really shows

It`s almost a crime to be so good-looking, talented, enthusiastic, and likable at the same time. I can`t say what he was like before he worked on "becoming Elvis", but I`ve got a feeling that by learning so much about what Elvis was like as a person, he took on some of Elvis` philosophy and take on life, which makes him even more loveable. I always say that Elvis` fans became better human beings after learning about "the Elvis way" of respecting, loving, and treating people and. I have a feeling that Austin Butler`s charm and charisma have increased with this role and that it will intensify. Once you`ve gone down the "Elvis Rabbit Hole", you can`t just shake off what you`ve learned. Of course, this is just speculation on my part or even wishful thinking, but I don`t think my theory is far off. It is so sad that his happiness at the Golden Globes has been overshadowed by Lisa Marie Presley`s death. I guess for him and for so many, many others, these two events will forever be tied together.
